COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Stokley Chaffee Jr. scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half and grabbed eight rebounds and Tennessee State defeated Tennessee Tech 79-62 on Thursday night, splitting the season series.

Tennessee Tech holds off Tennessee St. in OVC opener, 66-64
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Corey Tillery hit four straight free throws in the final minute and Tennessee Tech held off a Tennessee State rally to win the Ohio Valley Conference opener, 66-64 on Thursday night.
The Golden Eagles won for the third straight time in Nashville. The two previous wins required overtime.
Tillery leads Tennessee Tech past Warren Wilson 118-60
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Corey Tillery poured in 30 points, hitting a career-high 10 3-pointers, and Tennessee Tech rolled to a 118-60 victory over Warren Wilson College on Thursday night.
Tillery sank 10 of 14 from distance but missed both of his 2-point tries against the Owls, who hail from the United State Collegiate Athletics Association. Tillery's effort helped the Golden Eagles (2-7) shoot 46 percent from beyond the arc and 58 percent overall.
Vick’s late FTs lift Tennessee Tech to 1st win, 79-73
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Hunter Vick scored 20 points, including a pair of free throws with 12.6 seconds remaining to blunt a comeback rally and Tennessee Tech held on to defeat Louisiana Monroe 79-73 Friday night to end a five-game losing skid.
Corey Tillery also scored 20 for the Golden Eagles (1-5), making five 3-pointers before fouling out in the final seconds. Micaiah Henry scored 14 with 11 rebounds and Jr. Clay added 11 points.
Lewis scores 20 to lead Blue Hose to 80-65 victory
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Francois Lewis made four 3-pointers and scored 20 points and Presbyterian defeated Tennessee Tech 80-65 on Saturday night.
Davon Bell added 14 points and seven assists, Adam Flagler scored 13 points and JC Younger 11 for the Blue Hose (1-1), in the program's first-ever meeting with the Golden Eagles (1-1).
Courtney Alexander scored 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Tennessee Tech. Jr. Clay added 14 points and Corey Tillery made four 3-pointers for his 12.
