ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) — Kansas City Chiefs right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif left practice Sunday to be evaluated for a concussion, while defensive tackle Xavier Williams and running back Damien Williams also left early.
The Chiefs said Xavier Williams had a stinger and Damien Williams hurt his shoulder.
Eric Berry did not participate in practice after skipping the Chiefs' preseason opener against Houston on Thursday night. Their star safety is dealing with a sore heel.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced they signed running back Damien Williams from the Miami Dolphins to a one-year, $1.5 million contract.
Williams, 25, adds depth to a running back group that includes the NFL’s leading rusher, Kareem Hunt, and veteran reserves Spencer Ware an Charcandrick West.
The team announced the signing Thursday. West is set to make $2 million this year while Ware will make $1.8 million. Hunt, who will enter his second year, will make $778,000 this year.

Dolphins’ Tunsil doubtful against Buffalo with ankle injury
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Miami Dolphins left tackle Laremy Tunsil is doubtful for Sunday's game against Buffalo because of an ankle injury.
Tunsil, who has started every game this season, missed practice for the third day in a row Friday. He would be replaced by Zach Sterup, who would make his first career start.

Backup quarterback Matt Moore (foot) and running back Damien Williams (shoulder) were also ruled out Saturday, as expected. Cornerback Cordrea Tankersley (ankle and shoulder) is doubtful.
Coach Adam Gase said he anticipates Bushrod will be able to play again this season.
