BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Damiyne Durham scored 12 points on four treys to lead five players in double figures as CSU Bakersfield coasted to an 81-54 win over Division III UC Santa Cruz on Tuesday night.
Justin McCall, Justin Edler-Davis and Jarkel Joiner each scored 11 points, Rickey Holden added 10 and Greg Lee chipped in eight as 12 Roadrunners got in the scoring column.
CSUB rallies late to beat Chicago State 86-73
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Jarkel Joiner scored 22 points for Cal State Bakersfield and the Roadrunners closed on a 17-3 run to beat Chicago State 86-73 on Saturday night.
Chicago State led 70-69 with about three minutes left. Joiner scored five points and Justin Edler-Davis made two 3-pointers during the closing stretch.
CSU Bakersfield (13-6, 5-1 Western Athletic Conference) has won five of its last six games. Chicago State (3-16, 0-4) has lost eight straight.
CSU Bakersfield cruises past UT Rio Grande Valley 75-69
EDINBURG, Texas (AP) — Justin Edler-Davis scored 19 points, James Suber had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Cal State Bakersfield cruised to a 75-69 victory over UT Rio Grande Valley on Thursday night to remain undefeated in the Western Athletic Conference.
The Roadrunners (11-5, 3-0) have won eight of their last nine, with the only loss coming against then-No. 7 Gonzaga on Dec. 31. UTRGV (9-9, 1-1) has lost five of seven.
Moore’s buzzer-beater lifts CSUB over Utah Valley 73-71
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Taze Moore had 16 points and scored on a putback at the buzzer to lift Cal State Bakersfield past Utah Valley 73-71 on Saturday night.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Rickey Holden had 20 points with nine assists and Taze Moore added 14 points with three blocks as CSU Bakersfield dominated the second half to beat Lamar 86-65 for its third straight win on Thursday night.
Damiyne Durham, who finished with 15 points, nailed three treys to total 280 to set a school career record. Kenny Warren (1990-94) set the previous record. Justin Elder-Davis chipped in 11 points.

BIMINI, Bahamas (AP) — David DiLeo scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half, including two 3-pointers during Central Michigan's decisive late run, and the Chippewas beat CSU Bakersfield 67-55 on Thursday night in the opening game of the Junkanoo Jam.
DiLeo hit four 3-pointers — all in the second half — and had nine rebounds. Shawn Roundtree led Central Michigan (3-0) with 16 points, Larry Austin added 14 with eight rebounds and four assists and Kevin McKay scored 13.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Jake Toolson scored 19 points, Connor Toolson added 18 and only missed one free throw between them as second-seeded Utah Valley scored 21 points at the line, defeating No. 7 seed Cal State Bakersfield 81-74 in a Western Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal on Thursday.

CHICAGO (AP) — Damiyne Durham scored 14 points and led six Roadrunners into double-figure scoring as Cal State Bakersfield won its first Western Athletic Conference game of the season, topping Chicago State, 89-78 on Saturday afternoon.
CSU Bakersfield came into the game on a six-game losing streak, including its first four WAC games. Chicago State's losing streak now stands at 16 games, five straight in conference. The loss was the Cougars 20th of the season.
Durham, Holden help CSUB beat Idaho 66-55

Aaron Holiday scored 16 points and Thomas Welsh added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the Bruins' 75-66 victory Wednesday night.
UCLA (6-1) trailed by nine early in the game before rallying to take a 29-27 lead at the break after scoring its fewest first-half points this season. The Bruins shot 10-of-29 from the floor in the first 20 minutes.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Shawn Roundtree had 15 points and six assist to lead Central Michigan to a 75-72 win over CSU Bakersfield on Saturday night in the championship game of the 40th, and final, Great Alaska Shootout.

Cal State Bakersfield pulls away from Lamar in 85-73 win
BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) — Shon Briggs scored 22 points, Jarkel Joiner added 18 more and Cal State Bakersfield pulled away in the second half for an 85-73 win over Lamar on Sunday.
Leading by three at the break, Bakersfield (2-2) opened the second half with a 7-2 spurt capped with Rickey Holden's 3-pointer to build a quick 43-35 lead. Holden sank another 3 about four minutes later to spark a 7-0 run that stretched the advantage to 57-44 with 11:41 to play and the Roadrunners hung on down the stretch.
Georgia Southern cruises in 77-53 win over CSU Bakersfield
STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) — Tookie Brown scored 24 points, Ike Smith added 21, and Georgia Southern never trailed in beating Cal State Bakersfield 77-53 in its home opener on Monday night.
Brown and Smith, the top two scorers in the Sun Belt Conference last season, combined for five on the Eagles' nine 3-pointers, three of which came in Georgia Southern's opening 15-6 run.
The Eagles cruised to a 36-19 halftime lead and led by 29 with 7:28 to play after Montae Glenn's dunk.
Joiner leads CSU Bakersfield past DIII Whittier 88-66
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Jarkel Joiner scored 23 points on 9-for-15 shooting to propel Cal State Bakersfield to an 88-66 win over Division III Whittier in the season opener Friday night.

Basile sends Bakersfield to NIT finals with 80-76 win

SMU uses late run to beat Cal State Bakersfield 49-43
DALLAS (AP) — Shake Milton scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half and SMU rallied in the final five minutes Friday night to beat Cal State Bakersfield 49-43.
The Mustangs (5-3) went on a 12-0 run starting with Jarrey Foster's free throw at 5:28 and ending on Semi Ojeleye's free throw to make it 48-40 with 13 seconds left.
Milton's 3-pointer with 3:36 left gave SMU the lead for good at 43-40.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Damiyne Durham scored 19 points and added five steals to help Cal State Bakersfield cruise past NAIA Pacific Union 79-46 on Wednesday night.
Durham hit five 3-pointers and finished 7 of 19 overall from the field. Jaylin Airington added 18 points and 8 rebounds while Matt Smith finished with 11 points and also grabbed eight boards for the Roadrunners (5-3), who have won all four of their home games.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jaylin Arlington scored 18 points on 8-for-12 shooting, Dedrick Basile scored 16 and passed out six assists and Damiyne Durham chipped in 15 points sending Cal State Bakersfield past North Florida 77-54 on Saturday.
Cal State Bakersfield led 41-32 at intermission and emerged from the break to go on an 18-4 run to put the game away taking a 59-36 lead on Arlington's layup with 11:51 left. Arlington scored 7 points during the run.
Alstork heats up, carries Wright St past Bakersfield 68-64
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Mark Alstork scored 17 of his 24 points in the second half and Wright State held on for a wild 68-64 win over Cal State Bakersfield on Friday night.
Alstork, the nation's leading scorer at 30.3, was 3 of 10 from the field but made 15 of 19 free throws, including 11 of 12 in the second half.
CS Bakersfield holds off Fresno State 71-63
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Jaylin Airington had 28 points as Cal State Bakersfield held off a late Fresno State charge to take a 71-63 win on Tuesday night.
The Roadrunners, who never trailed after the opening two minutes, held a 34-25 halftime advantage and stretched that to 57-38 midway in the second period. However Fresno State had a 14-6 run to close to 63-52 with 2:20 left. The Roadrunners made six free throws down the stretch to hold on for the win.
CSU Bakersfield beats San Diego Christian 96-54
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Shon Briggs had 21 points and nine rebounds and Cal State Bakersfield opened the season with a 96-54 win over NAIA San Diego Christian on Saturday night.
CSU Bakersfield never trailed after scoring the first nine points, led by 14 at the half and closed on a 22-5 run. The Roadrunners were 9 of 15 from 3-point range and 64.4 percent overall from the field.
