Justin Allgaier won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Road America, pulling away over the final five laps to pick up his second victory in three weeks.
Allgaier held a 5.4-second advantage over second-place Matt Tifft to take a tense, caution-filled race filled with lots of bumps, scrapes and spin-outs around the 14-turn course. Daniel Hemric was third.
Larson takes Xfinity Series event for 1st win at Bristol
BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) — Kyle Larson capitalized on Kyle Busch's early exit to win the Xfinity Series race Friday night at Bristol Motor Speedway, his first victory ever at the track he calls his favorite.
Larson has won four of the six Xfinity Series races he has entered this season. The latest victory came hours after he earned the pole for the Cup Series event Saturday night.
Joey Logano wins Xfinity pole at Watkins Glen
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (AP) — Joey Logano has won the Xfinity pole for the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International.
Logano led a Penske Racing sweep of the front row with a speed of 122.995 mph around the 2.45-mile natural terrain layout to edge teammate Brad Keselowski as Cup regulars took the top four spots. Kyle Larson was third and AJ Allmendinger fourth.
Xfininity regular Daniel Hemric, sixth in points, will go off fifth.
SPARTA, Ky. (AP) — Christopher Bell couldn't have started any worse in Friday night's NASCAR Xfinity Series race, which made his impressive victory all the more satisfying.
Bell rallied from the rear of the field after a tire change due to a spin during qualifying. He steadily worked his way up the field and passed Justin Allgaier with 17 laps remaining, then held off Daniel Hemric to win the 300-mile race at Kentucky Speedway.
Dillon wins rain-shortened Xfinity race at Michigan
BROOKLYN, Mich. (AP) — Austin Dillon and Daniel Hemric didn't have much time to battle for the lead after the final restart.
As long as one of them was in front when the rain came, Richard Childress Racing was going to win.
Richmond, Va. — Christopher Bell grabbed the lead out of a restart to begin the final stage and held off teammate Noah Gragson to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway on Friday night.
Bell led by nearly 0.6 seconds at one point during the final stage, then had Gragson close onto his rear bumper with about 10 laps to go. But just as quickly as Gragson mounted a challenge in his first career start in the series, Bell again pulled away for his second career victory in the series.
BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) — Ryan Preece was willing to risk just about anything in hopes of bolstering his racing career. That meant going into major debt last year for a chance to run a few races on the Xfinity Series.
But Preece's investment in himself paid off big time Saturday as the full-time NASCAR Modified Tour driver captured the Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway and took home the Dash 4 Cash $100,000 bonus prize.

Veteran car chief Billy Wilburn will call the shots as Allgaier drives for his first career NASCAR title. Jason Burdett has been suspended for the final race because of an unattached brake cooling hose found during inspection after Phoenix.

Bowman wins Xfinity race; 8 drivers advance in playoffs
CONCORD, N.C. (AP) — Alex Bowman proved to Dale Earnhardt Jr. he's ready to take his place next year.
In his first race in nearly a year, Bowman drove his No. 42 Chevrolet to his first NASCAR Xfinity Series victory Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway in a rain-delayed playoff elimination race.
Bowman will replace Earnhardt next year in the No. 88 Chevrolet in the Cup series. Earnhardt is retiring after the season.
Ohioan Sam Hornish Jr. wins XFinity Mid-Ohio race
LEXINGTON, Ohio (AP) — Sam Hornish Jr.'s experience at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course finally paid off.
Hornish Jr. dominated in his home state to win the XFinity Mid-Ohio Challenge on Saturday.
"I think I've been second or third here a few times in other series but could never win here," he said. "To finally punch that ticket means a lot to me."
Logano wins 3rd straight Xfinity pole at Watkins Glen
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (AP) — Joey Logano has won the pole for the Xfinity race at Watkins Glen International.
Logano turned a lap at 124.185 mph to edge Kyle Busch (124.019 mph) for the top spot in the Zippo 200 on Saturday. It's his third straight pole in this race, one he is trying to win a third straight time. Logano set the track qualifying record last year at 124.552 mph.
Reddick holds off teammate Hemric in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Tyler Reddick crashed the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff party.
Reddick held off Brad Keselowski Racing teammate Daniel Hemric at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday night, leading 70 of 146 laps in the second Chase race.
RCR hires Daniel Hemric for Xfinity Series in 2017
JOLIET, Ill. (AP) — Richard Childress Racing has hired Daniel Hemric to drive full-time in the Xfinity Series next season.
Childress made the announcement at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday, a day after Hemric finished second in the Truck Series race to earn a spot in the Chase for the championship.
NASCAR: Kyle Busch’s winning truck fails inspection
CHICAGO (AP) — NASCAR says Kyle Busch's winning truck in Friday night's race has failed inspection for being too low in the rear.
Any penalties for the No. 18 Toyota will be announced in the coming week.
