ATLANTA (AP) — Seven Nigerians are facing charges after prosecutors say they targeted people on dating websites and swindled them out of more than $1.5 million.
The U.S. attorney's office in Atlanta said in a news release Friday that the Nigerians created fake online dating profiles with photos of models or public figures. Prosecutors said they targeted people with financial assets, spending weeks or months courting them.

Longmont police responded to a report of a woman using narcotics in a vehicle sometime on Monday in the area of Pike Road and Airport Road. ELLSWORTH, Wis. (AP) — Tasha Schuh is used to getting embarrassing questions about her sex life.
Schuh, paralyzed from the chest down since she fell through a stage trap door in 1997 during a rehearsal for her high school musical, said she understands why people are curious.
