Packers’ Davante Adams questionable for Lions game
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Packers receiver Davante Adams is questionable for Green Bay's season finale against the Detroit Lions because of a knee injury.
Adams missed the first two days of practice this week, though he did say that he was optimistic that would be able to play. Adams needs to two catches and 134 yards receiving to set single-season franchise marks in each category.

Desperate Packers focus on fixes, tune out noise
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers must make a stand just to stay in the playoff conversation.
The injury list is growing. Their postseason hopes are in serious jeopardy. They'll need breaks to go their way with teams ahead of them in the wild-card chase.
Tune out the outside noise and criticism of what might be wrong, David Bakhtiari said.

McCarthy: Packers’ LT Bakhtiari’s injury not ‘long-term’
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari avoided a serious injury after being carted off the field at practice during the weekend.
Bakhtiari was hurt during the Family Night practice on Saturday at Lambeau Field. He walked to a cart with his left shoe removed before being driven back to the locker room.
Bakhtiari twisted his ankle while retreating in pass protection. He likened it to a "typical basketball" injury.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari was taken off the field on a cart Saturday, dampening the spirits at Family Night at Lambeau Field.
Bakhtiari walked to the cart with his left shoe removed.
"I don't have enough information to answer that," coach Mike McCarthy said about the severity of the injury. "I know it's his ankle but that's all I know."
With Rodgers back, Packers OL must stave off Panthers’ rush
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers' offensive line is ready to protect Aaron Rodgers, just in time for a final three-week playoff push.
When Rodgers returns from a broken collarbone on Sunday against Carolina, he will take snaps behind an offensive line that has stabilized following an injury-filled start to the season.
Packers: Well-traveled Justin McCray has become big factor on offensive line
GREEN BAY — There they stood, at the back of the Green Bay Packers’ locker room, perplexed. Bryan Bulaga and David Bakhtiari were putting their heads together — the offensive linemen’s intellectual equivalent of a combination block — trying to figure out exactly where Justin McCray had played, and when.
It was no easy task.
“I’m trying to remember, he played left tackle against … Cincinnati?” Bulaga said.
GREEN BAY — David Bakhtiari’s eyes lit up at the thought. The pitch in his voice jumped almost an octave. A smile creased his lips.
For as long as he can remember, the Green Bay Packers’ left tackle has spent most of his game days backpedaling, fending off pass rushers. He understood why, of course, since he was blocking for a two-time NFL MVP who makes the offense go by throwing the football. And Bakhtiari still wishes that it was that way.
GREEN BAY -- Aaron Rodgers is back.
Well, he’s back in the building, not back on the field. The Green Bay Packers will have to keep waiting and hoping for that to happen before season’s end.
GREEN BAY — Their quarterback isn’t coming back anytime soon — if at all this season. But the guys protecting his replacement might finally — finally — be all together when the Green Bay Packers’ bye week concludes and the team returns to work Tuesday.
No NFL team escapes injuries, but Vikings have absorbed them better than their opponents this year
LONDON The Vikings will play their fifth game of October on Sunday, as they look for their fourth win of the month after losing Dalvin Cook on Oct. 1 against the Detroit Lions.
Packers: David Bakhtiari sounds like he’ll miss his fifth straight game
GREEN BAY — David Bakhtiari admitted that he hasn’t been the most pleasant fellow to be around while sidelined by a hamstring injury.
The Green Bay Packers left tackle likes to say that he has “a terrible case of FOMO” — the fear of missing out — and he’s been missing out on a lot since sustaining the injury late in the regular-season opener. Four games, to be exact.
“He’s semi-miserable to be with right now,” offensive line coach James Campen said Thursday night. “But we love him.”
Packers: Aaron Rodgers revels in entire first-team offense practicing together
GREEN BAY — Aaron Rodgers was a little confused at practice Wednesday.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback apparently saw something he hasn’t seen in quite a while — his entire offense back together again.
Packers WR Adams active after scary hit last week
Green Bay receiver Davante Adams is active against Dallas on Sunday, 10 days after he was taken off the field on a stretcher following a helmet-to-helmet hit that led to a suspension for Chicago linebacker Danny Trevathan.
Packers running back is Ty Montgomery inactive after sustaining broken ribs in the win over the Bears. Left tackle David Bakhtiari (hamstring) is out against the Cowboys, but right tackle Bryan Bulaga (ankle) is active.
Packers: Mike Daniels says he’s ‘ready to roll’ for Cowboys game
GREEN BAY — It may end up being a game-time decision Sunday for some of the Green Bay Packers’ injured players — including offensive tackles David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga — but defensive lineman Mike Daniels left no doubt Friday: He is playing against the Dallas Cowboys.
Packers RB Ty Montgomery doubtful for Cowboys game
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers running back Ty Montgomery is listed as doubtful to play against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday because of broken ribs.
Montgomery got hurt in last week's win over the Chicago Bears. He appeared to be wearing a flak jacket under his jersey while practicing on a limited basis this week.
Backup running back Jamaal Williams, who hurt his knee in the Bears game, was dropped from the injury report on Friday and should be available against Dallas.

Packers: Almost all injured players practice, but availability still unclear for Sunday
GREEN BAY — Aaron Rodgers loved seeing Davante Adams going out for passes in practice Wednesday. He was happy to have Bryan Bulaga and David Bakhtiari back as part of his protection crew on Clarke Hinkle Field. And he was pleased to see his top two running backs, Ty Montgomery and Jamaal Williams, in uniform.
Going deep with some Chicago Bears problems, besides the QB call
The Bears managed all of 14 points Thursday night at Lambeau Field. Here are seven of my own, outside of who starts behind center:
Packers: Injuries at offensive tackle factor heavily into game plan
GREEN BAY — The way Aaron Rodgers sees it, the Green Bay Packers have two choices.
Their offensive tackle depth chart is in tatters. Starters David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga are doubtful for tonight’s game against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field, and their top three backup options at tackle – Kyle Murphy, Jason Spriggs and Don Barclay — are all on injured reserve.
Packers: Offensive tackles David Bakhtiari, Bryan Bulaga unlikely to play vs. Bears
GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers almost certainly will be without their starting offensive tackles again Thursday night, as both left tackle David Bakhtiari and right tackle Bryan Bulaga were listed as doubtful on the team’s injury report Wednesday afternoon.
Packers: Aaron Rodgers throws four TD passes as Green Bay routs Chicago Bears
GREEN BAY — The Chicago Bears proved to be just what the doctor ordered for the injury-ravaged Green Bay Packers.
Now coach Mike McCarthy just has to hope he has enough healthy players to field a competitive team when they return to action on Oct. 8 at Dallas.
GREEN BAY — No Bryan Bulaga. No David Bakhtiari. No Kyle Murphy. No Jason Spriggs. No Don Barclay.
And apparently, no problem for the Green Bay Packers.
Despite being down to their sixth and seventh options at tackle Thursday night — with left guard Lane Taylor kicking out to left tackle and Justin McCray making his second start in three weeks at right tackle — the Packers weathered the storm on their offensive line during their 35-14 victory over the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field.
Packers’ David Bakhtiari, Bryan Bulaga will miss Bears game
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Packers offensive tackles David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga will miss Green Bay's game Thursday night against the Chicago Bears.
The Packers will dig deep on the depth chart at the tackle positions with their top three backups already on injured reserve.
Packers: Kyle Murphy placed on IR; David Bakhtiari, Bryan Bulaga practice in limited fashion
GREEN BAY — Although both their starting tackles were able to participate on a limited basis in Tuesday’s helmets-and-shorts practice, it’s a long way from a guarantee that left tackle David Bakhtiari and right tackle Bryan Bulaga will be able to protect quarterback Aaron Rodgers against the Chicago Bears come Thursday night.
Injuries hammer away at depth on Packers offensive line
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Injuries have hammered away at the offensive line depth of the Green Bay Packers.
Left tackle David Bakhtiari and fellow starter at right tackle, Bryan Bulaga, haven't played a game together since the second week of the preseason, a trend that could continue Thursday night against the Chicago Bears .
Tom Oates: Depleted Packers show resolve in win over Bengals
GREEN BAY — The magnitude of the Green Bay Packers’ task Sunday at Lambeau Field became evident to quarterback Aaron Rodgers when he looked around the locker room before the game and wondered where everyone was.
The injury situation wasn’t a complete surprise, but among the players on the inactive list were stalwarts Mike Daniels, Nick Perry, Davon House, David Bakhtiari and Randall Cobb.
Rodgers’ reaction? “Man, there’s some studs not playing.”
Banged-up Packers beat winless Bengals 27-24 in overtime
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Aaron Rodgers looked around the locker room before Green Bay's game against the Cincinnati Bengals and noticed all the Packers starters sidelined with injuries. Defensive lineman Mike Daniels, receiver Randall Cobb and left tackle David Bakhtiari, just to name a few.
"But we've had a rallying cry at the beginning of the season," Rodgers said. "No excuses."
And no way were the Packers going to lose Sunday after Rodgers figured out the Bengals defense.
Packers list 7 key players as doubtful for Bengals game
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A hip injury is threatening Mike Daniels' ironman streak with the Green Bay Packers.
The standout defensive lineman could be one of seven front-line players who might be sidelined for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals . Daniels hasn't missed a game since his rookie season, with 50 consecutive regular-season starts and 77 consecutive regular-season appearances.
Packers hit hard by injuries in loss to Falcons
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A slew of injuries to key players could leave the Green Bay Packers scrambling this week. And perhaps the week after that, too.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday the team's medical staff was still "trying to get their hands around" the avalanche of injuries that occurred during the team's 34-23 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night, although none of the injuries appear to be season-ending.
Packers starting tackles Bakhtiari, Bulaga out vs Falcons
ATLANTA (AP) — Green Bay starting offensive tackles David Bakhtiari (hamstring) and Bryan Bulaga will not play against the Atlanta Falcons.
Also included on the Packers' list of inactives is backup tackle Jason Spriggs.
Kyle Murphy and Adam Pankey are Green Bay's other backup tackles.
Linebacker Ahmad Brooks (concussion) also is out for Green Bay.
Falcons rookie backup running back Brian Hill (ankle) will not play. He was the only player on Atlanta's final injury report of the week.
Packers: Right tackle Bryan Bulaga leaves practice with ankle injury
GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers have to hope that their summer of good luck on the injury front continues with Bryan Bulaga, and that the veteran right tackle’s ankle injury suffered in practice Wednesday turns out to be minor.
Packers: Jason Spriggs, Kyle Murphy competing for playing time on crowded offensive line
GREEN BAY — Jason Spriggs and Kyle Murphy got a taste of the high life last week.
With their Green Bay Packers teammate and pal, left tackle David Bakhtiari, up for the “athlete of the year” award at the annual Wisconsin Sports Awards at the University of Wisconsin Field House, the two second-year offensive linemen got to fly down from Green Bay — albeit on a short takeoff-to-touchdown that was barely a half hour — on a private jet and be treated like celebrities.
Packers: Second-year tackle Jason Spriggs not in mix for right guard opening
Mike McCarthy doesn’t know who will replace Pro Bowl right guard T.J. Lang on the Green Bay Packers’ offensive line, but the 12th-year coach knows who won’t be: starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga or second-year swing tackle Jason Spriggs.
Packers flip script, experience last-second playoff win
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — For once after a game, Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby felt sore.
He got mobbed by giddy teammates after hitting the 51-yard field goal as time expired to beat the Dallas Cowboys.
At one point, Crosby had to beg hulking left tackle David Bakhtiari from trying to pick up the kicker for a victory parade.
Packers: Green Bay’s David Bakhtiari, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix named to AP All-Pro Second Team
Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari and safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix were both named to the Associated Press All-Pro Second Team on Friday.
Bakhtiari, who signed a four-year contract extension with the Packers in 2016, has started 62 of 64 games for Green Bay over the last four seasons. This is his first selection as an AP All-Pro.
Packers’ G T.J. Lang, LB Jake Ryan to miss Redskins game
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers will be without two more starters on Sunday night against Washington after coach Mike McCarthy said guard T.J. Lang and linebacker Jake Ryan would miss the game.
Lang has a foot injury and Ryan has an ankle injury. Both players were hurt in last week's 47-25 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Packers: Health status unclear on offensive linemen T.J. Lang, David Bakhtiari
GREEN BAY — The one area more than any other the Green Bay Packers have been able to rely on during their up-and-down season has been the offensive line.
That might not be the case anymore.
The team lost starting right guard T.J. Lang (ankle) and left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee) to injuries during Sunday’s 47-25 loss at Tennessee, and it’s possible neither of them will be ready for this Sunday night’s game at Washington.
Packers sign LT David Bakhtiari to contract extension
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari has signed a contract extension to stay in Green Bay, and a person familiar with the talks said it is a four-year deal worth up to $51.67 million.
The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity on Tuesday because details of the extension have not been announced.

Packers release veteran guard Josh Sitton
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers released three-time Pro Bowl guard Josh Sitton on Saturday, making an unexpected change on their offensive line.
The 30-year-old Sitton had started 112 of 121 regular-season games since being drafted in the fourth round in 2008 out of Central Florida. He was one of the leaders on a front five that protects quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
