CROTONE, Italy (AP) — Former Italy goalkeeper Walter Zenga has been named coach of relegation-threatened Crotone.
Zenga replaced Davide Nicola, who resigned unexpectedly Wednesday after an apparent clash with club management.
Crotone has lost four straight matches in all competitions and is 16th in Serie A, two points above the drop zone.

The move came following an apparent clash with club management after a 3-0 defeat at home against Udinese on Monday.
The Calabrian club is in 16th place in Serie A, two points above the relegation zone.

MILAN (AP) — The introduction of video review in Serie A was meant to eliminate controversial decisions. However, debate continues to rumble on after the first weekend using the new technology.
The video assistant referee, or VAR, helped referees on several decisions in the opening games of the season:

— Allowing Napoli's opening goal in its victory over Hellas Verona

MILAN (AP) — The new-look AC Milan team proved just as effective in Serie A as it has been in Europe, easing to a 3-0 win at 10-man Crotone on Sunday — albeit with the aid of video technology.
Milan, which beat Shkendija 6-0 in the Europa League on Thursday, started a number of its new signings but it was youth academy graduate Patrick Cutrone who made the difference.
