PHOENIX (AP) — Nights when star Devin Booker is off his game don't often spell victories for the struggling Phoenix Suns. But Booker was still a factor Wednesday night, and his teammates picked him up.
T.J. Warren scored 16 of his 27 points in the first half and the Suns built a big lead, almost lost it and then pulled away for a 116-96 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
The Suns ended a four-game losing streak to improve to 3-11.

TORONTO (AP) — Stephen Curry returned from a two-game absence to score 24 points, Klay Thompson had 26 and the Golden State Warriors blew nearly all of a 27-point lead before beating the Toronto Raptors 127-125 on Saturday night.
DeMar DeRozan scored 42 points for the Raptors, but the Warriors had just enough to beat Toronto for the eighth straight time.
Aldridge, Bertans lead Spurs to comeback win over Kings
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Out of sync for most of the first three quarters, the San Antonio Spurs got a big lift from LaMarcus Aldridge down the stretch and an even bigger boost off the bench from Davis Bertans.
With star forward Kawhi Leonard sidelined indefinitely by a left shoulder tear, it was the perfect combination to keep San Antonio's three-year winning streak against Sacramento going.

Spurs’ Aldridge to miss 76ers game with sore knee
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge will not play against the Philadelphia 76ers because of a sore right knee.
San Antonio is already without Pau Gasol, its starting center, who underwent surgery Jan. 20 to repair a broken left ring finger. Gasol broke his fourth metacarpal Jan. 19 while warming up before the Spurs' home game against Denver. The 7-footer was expected to miss four to six weeks due to the injury.

Rookie Bertans’ 21 points lead Spurs over Hornets, 102-85

Davis Bertans responded with another eye-opening performance.

BOSTON (AP) — The trade that brought Kawhi Leonard to San Antonio was already a success for the Spurs, even before throw-in Davis Bertans began contributing.
The Latvian rookie set a career high in scoring for the second straight game, pitching in 15 of the Spurs' 56 bench points on Friday to help San Antonio beat the Boston Celtics 109-103 for their eighth straight victory.
