City authorities said late Friday morning that water samples were clear of bacteria, and Montgomery County followed later in the day after concluding water was safe to drink without boiling first.
Some 100,000 people began their day under a boil-water advisory.

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — A water line broke in one of Ohio's largest cities Thursday, forcing some 100,000 customers to boil their water, closing schools and disrupting diners' Valentine's Day plans.
Crews located the leak early Thursday under the Great Miami River and were working to repair it. There was no word on what caused the break.
As many as 400,000 people initially lost water altogether before authorities located the leak. Distribution sites for bottled water were set up around the city.

Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. said in a release that 19-year-old Alyssa Irwin-Debraux was sentenced Thursday in Dayton. She was convicted in December on charges that included involuntary manslaughter, failure to comply and grand theft of a motor vehicle.

A federal judge in Dayton ruled Monday that other claims, including negligence, can proceed against Walmart in the 2014 death of 22-year-old John Crawford III.
Crawford's family sued Walmart, the city of Beavercreek and police.
