Redskins without Doctson, Saints scratch Teo
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The Washington Redskins have scratched receiver Josh Doctson from the lineup for Monday night's game against New Orleans.
Doctson had been listed as questionable with a heel injury on the club's final injury report on Saturday. The Redskins say Maurice Harris will start in Doctson's place.
The Saints, who'd already ruled out receiver Ted Ginn Jr. with knee soreness, also scratched linebacker Manti Teo, who'd been questionable with a knee injury.
Quiet rookie Washington fine letting his play do the talking
PITTSBURGH (AP) — The ball came floating down and James Washington appeared out of position. The back of the end zone was behind him. Green Bay defensive back Demetri Goodson was in front of him. The window Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Josh Dobbs had to fit the ball to the rookie wide receiver didn't really exist.

Packers’ Kevin King out for season with shoulder injury
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The early end to rookie Kevin King's season in Green Bay opened a path for Demetri Goodson to return to the secondary following a serious knee injury.
King's season is over after the team placed the cornerback on injured reserve Wednesday with a lingering shoulder injury.
The 6-foot-3 King, who was inactive for two of the past three games, gave the defense a mix of height and speed that they had been lacking at cornerback to play effective press coverage.
Eagles, Packers each missing a few starters
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Eagles starting right guard Brandon Brooks was hospitalized with an illness earlier Monday and is inactive for the game against the Green Bay Packers.
Philadelphia is also missing two other starters: running back Ryan Mathews and right tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai. Both players have knee injuries. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor, a 2015 first-round pick, is a healthy scratch.
Lacy and Shields out for season for Packers
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Running back Eddie Lacy and cornerback Sam Shields will stay on injured reserve for the rest of the season, with the Green Bay Packers planning to activate cornerback Makinton Dorleant from injured reserve.
Coach Mike McCarthy said on Wednesday that Dorleant, an undrafted rookie free agent, would be activated for the game Monday night at Philadelphia.
NFL teams can designate one player to come off injured reserve.
Packers WR Cobb active, expected to start against Colts
Green Bay Packers receiver Randall Cobb is active and expected to start against Indianapolis after missing a game because of a hamstring injury.
Teammate Clay Matthews, though, will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury. But Green Bay's defense should have two key pieces in its depleted secondary with cornerbacks Quinten Rollins (groin) and Demetri Goodson (concussion) active against the Colts.
Packers down another cornerback after Randall has surgery
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — As the Green Bay Packers went back to work Tuesday after an extended break, they started to prepare for a big matchup with a diminished secondary.
Coach Mike McCarthy announced Tuesday that cornerback Damarious Randall, who had been sidelined with a groin injury, underwent surgery and is out this week.
