FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have tendered a second-round qualifying offer to wide receiver Robby Anderson, who could become a restricted free agent next week.
Jets without WR Quincy Enunwa for second straight week
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa will miss his second straight game because of an ankle injury.
Enunwa is tied with Robby Anderson for the team lead with 38 catches, but has just nine receptions in the Jets' last four games. He sat out against Houston last Saturday after hurting his ankle at Buffalo.
Texans, Jets both down starting WRs for game
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The Texans and Jets will be without starting wide receivers, with Houston's Keke Coutee and New York's Quincy Enunwa inactive because of injuries.
Both Coutee (hamstring) and Enunwa (ankle) had been previously ruled out for the game Saturday.
Texans wide receiver Vyncint Smith is also inactive, as are running back D'Onta Foreman, cornerback Deante Burton, offensive tackle Roderick Johnson and defensive ends Carlos Watkins and Joel Heath.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets will be short-handed in Chicago.
Wide receiver Robby Anderson is doubtful for Sunday's game because of an ankle injury that kept him out of practice all week. Receiver Quincy Enunwa was previously ruled out with a high ankle sprain.
That leaves rookie quarterback Sam Darnold without two top receivers.
Jets release injured WR Pryor, sign Burnett
NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Jets have released wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, who is dealing with a groin injury.
The team also announced Saturday it has signed wide receiver Deontay Burnett from the practice squad to take Pryor's spot on the active roster.
With Pryor unlikely to play Sunday against Minnesota and Quincy Enunwa out with a sprained ankle, the Jets were short-handed at receiver.
Jets sign OLB Attaochu, place RB McGuire on IR
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have signed outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu and placed running back Eli McGuire on injured reserve.
Attaochu was the Chargers' second-round draft pick out of Georgia Tech in 2014. He had 10 sacks and 68 tackles in four seasons before signing this spring with San Francisco, which released him Saturday.

USC DL Rasheem Green is 4th Trojan to declare for NFL draft
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Southern California defensive lineman Rasheem Green will skip his final year of eligibility to enter the NFL draft.
Green announced his decision Saturday night.
Green led the Trojans in sacks in each of the past two seasons, and he earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors last month. The 6-foot-4 Los Angeles-area player had 117 tackles and 16 1/2 sacks in his three USC seasons.
USC WR Deontay Burnett will leave early for NFL draft
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Southern California receiver Deontay Burnett is skipping his senior season to enter the NFL draft.
Burnett announced his decision Monday on Twitter.
The 20-year-old Burnett was the Trojans' leading receiver this season, catching 86 passes for 1,114 yards and nine touchdowns. His production increased sharply in each of his three seasons in USC's offense, and he finished with 152 career receptions for 1,897 yards and 16 TDs.

USC gets top rusher back, but health of leading receiver is now in question
It was a good news/bad news kind of day for the USC football program.
As of Monday morning, the Trojans were unsure whether leading rusher Ronald Jones would be able to recover from a thigh contusion soon enough to play in Friday’s game at No. 16 Washington State. Jones practiced Monday afternoon and told Los Angeles media: “I’m ready to go Friday.”

Four Pac-12 teams entered the season with a national ranking and a fifth, UCLA, joined the party this week debuting at No. 25. Utah (101 votes), Colorado (66) and Oregon (61) are all receiving votes, meaning a whopping eight teams could crack the AP list this season.
As for the weekly S-R poll? Well, the top two remain unchanged while Arizona State, Arizona and Oregon State still make up the bottom three, but there was a good amount of shifting between Nos. 3 and 9.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Southern California ran the ball straight at Stanford in the opening series, and the Trojans never stopped. USC's defense dominated up front and largely stifled the Cardinal's vaunted running game.
The recent roles in this California private-school rivalry were completely flipped Saturday night, and the surging Trojans embraced the chance to be the victorious bullies.
"We beat them at their own game," USC safety Chris Hawkins said.

Jones, Darnold power USC to 45-20 win over Oregon
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Southern California coach Clay Helton was afraid his team might look past struggling Oregon toward next week's marquee matchup against College Football Playoff contender Washington.
Fortunately for Helton, there were no such issues as Ronald Jones tied a school single-game record with four rushing touchdowns and the Trojans demolished Oregon 45-20 on Saturday.
"Now y'all can ask all the UDub questions you want," USC safety Chris Hawkins said.
