Lindholm scored twice, including the tiebreaking goal midway through the third period, and the Flames rallied from two down to beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 on Saturday night.
After deflecting Noah Hanifin's point shot into Mikko Koskinen's pads, Lindholm knocked in the rebound at 9:10 of the third. He added an empty-netter for his team-leading 11th goal — his career high is 17 set in 2014-15.

SHENZHEN, China (AP) — Brad Marchand and Jake DeBrusk scored in the shootout to lead the Boston Bruins to a 4-3 win over the Calgary Flames in the NHL exhibition season opener on Saturday in Shenzhen, China.
Down to their last shooter, Boston tied the shootout on Marchand's goal. After Calgary's Derek Ryan missed, DeBrusk scored the game-winner.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes finally got their first home win on Saturday night.
Rookie Clayton Keller and Antti Raanta led the way.
Keller scored in regulation and the shootout, sending Arizona to a 2-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Raanta had 36 saves in the Coyotes' second win of the season. Derek Stepan also scored in the shootout, and Raanta stopped Derek Ryan's attempt to end the game.
Keller's backhand goal opened the shootout for Arizona.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed to terms with forward Derek Ryan on a one-year contract.
Under terms of the deal announced Monday, Ryan will make $1.425 million this season.
The 30-year-old had career bests with 11 goals, 18 assists and 29 points for Carolina in 2016-17. He was originally signed by the Hurricanes as a free agent in 2015 and made $600,000 last season.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Eric Staal scored a tiebreaking goal in the third period to lead the Minnesota Wild to a 3-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes in an NHL exhibition game Sunday in St. Paul.
Staal, playing against his former team, also assisted on Charlie Coyle's second period goal for the Wild, which tied the game 1-1. Jason Zucker added a late goal.
