Pistons sign Ellington, waive Ellenson
DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Pistons have signed guard Wayne Ellington and waived 2016 first-round draft pick Henry Ellenson.
The Pistons announced the moves Saturday night.
The 6-foot-5 Ellington is in his 10th NBA season. He averaged 8.4 points with Miami this season before he was traded to Phoenix and then waived. The Pistons needed outside shooting after trading Reggie Bullock.

Andre Drummond had 29 points and 20 rebounds, and the Detroit Pistons handed New York its 15th straight loss, beating the Knicks 120-103 on Friday night. The Knicks rallied from a 21-point second-quarter deficit, tying the game in the third. But Detroit avoided a repeat of its collapse last weekend against the Los Angeles Clippers, when the Pistons lost after leading by 25.

Bucks acquire Mirotic from Pelicans
MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired forward Nikola Mirotic from the New Orleans Pelicans in a three-team deal.
The Bucks made the announcement in a news release on Thursday. Milwaukee also will send forward Thon Maker to the Detroit Pistons and center Jason Smith and four future second-round draft picks to the Pelicans. Detroit will send forward Stanley Johnson to New Orleans to complete the deal.

Hield made an off-balance, fadeaway 3-pointer just before time expired and scored 35 points in the Sacramento Kings' 103-101 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night.
"I'm blessed to say I got one in the NBA at the highest level," he said. "It's a fun. As a kid, you always dream of hitting one of those type of shots. It's something I'll cherish for the rest of my life.
Pistons’ Drummond out versus Kings, in concussion protocol
DETROIT (AP) — Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond is in concussion protocol a day after taking a shot on his nose.
Drummond was out of the lineup Saturday night against the Sacramento Kings.
He left in the first quarter of Friday night's win over the Miami Heat with what the team called a nasal injury. Drummond was hit in the face by the arm of Miami's James Johnson and it did not appear to be intentional blow.
