LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Kris Bankston came off the bench to score 11 points to carry Arkansas-Little Rock to a 56-52 win over Texas-Arlington on Thursday night.
Rayjon Tucker had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Arkansas-Little Rock (10-15, 5-7 Sun Belt Conference). Nikola Maric added 10 points and eight rebounds. Deondre Burns had 10 points for the hosts.
Arkansas-Little Rock totaled 30 second-half points, a season low for the team.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Brian Warren had 22 points as Texas-Arlington beat Appalachian State 78-68 on Saturday.
Edric Dennis had 14 points and six assists for Texas-Arlington (12-12, 8-3 Sun Belt Conference), which earned its fourth consecutive home victory. Tiandre Jackson-Young added 10 points. Andres Ibarguen had 10 points and nine rebounds for the hosts.
UT Arlington rolls past cold-shooting Coastal Carolina
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — TiAndre Jackson-Young scored 13 points, Andres Ibarguen had 12 points with 15 rebounds, and UT Arlington shut down Coastal Carolina 74-54 on Thursday night.
Edric Dennis had 14 points and Warren added nine points, six rebounds and six assists for UTA (11-12, 7-3 Sun Belt).
DeVante Jones scored 15 points and Ebrima Dibba added 12 points for Coastal Carolina (12-10, 6-4). No other Chanticleer scored more than five points.

ATLANTA (AP) — Jeff Thomas scored a career-high 27 points and Georgia State defeated UT Arlington 77-71 on Saturday.
Thomas connected on 11 of 15 shots, including 5 of 6 3-pointers and the Panthers (15-6, 6-2 Sun Belt) bounced back from their only home loss of the season, an 81-68 setback against league-leading Texas State on Thursday.
Kane Williams had 16 points and five assists, Jordan Tyson added 11 points and Devin Mitchell scored 10 points for the Panthers.
Red-hot Dennis scores 32, UT Arlington defeats Little Rock
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Edric Dennis continued his recent scoring binge with a season-high 32 points and UT Arlington defeated Little Rock 82-73 on Saturday.
The Mavericks went the last 4:32 without a field goal, but it was of little consequence as they made 12 of 14 free throws to finish the victory. UTA was 34 for 39 from the line, with Dennis making 15 of 17.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — D'Marcus Simonds scored 15 points and Georgia State outlasted UT Arlington 63-58 in a cold-shooting Sun Belt Conference opener on Thursday night.
Simonds did most of his scoring at the free-throw line, sinking 9 of 14 for the Panthers (10-4). Georgia State won despite shooting 41 percent from the floor, 38 percent from 3-point range and making 23 of 38 foul shots (60.5 percent). Devin Mitchell and Malik Benlevi added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Brian Warren scored 18 points, Radshad Davis scored 12 and UT Arlington beat UC Davis 68-59 on Sunday.
Warren missed 11 of 15 shot attempts but made all eight of his free throws; six coming in the last 43 seconds to keep the Aggies at arm's length.
In the first half, D.J. Bryant made back-to-back 3-pointers with for a 33-28 Mavericks lead and UT Arlington (2-1) never trailed again.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Brian Warren tossed in 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting and Edric Dennis added a double-double as UT-Arlington pulled away in the second half to beat Northern Iowa 74-65 on Saturday night.
David Azore nailed all eight of his free throws and scored 16 for the Mavericks (2-0), while Dennis finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Radshad Davis added nine points and 11 rebounds. UTA had a 37-29 edge on the boards.

The Panthers (4-14, 1-3 Southwest Athletic Conference) went without a field goal after Shay'rone Jett's 3-point play made it a 55-36 lead with 10:29 left. From there, Prairie View missed its last seven attempts from the field while the Tigers (7-11, 3-2) had an 18-3 run to close within five with 48 seconds left.
Jackson State earns 63-60 win at Alabama State
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Edric Dennis put up 30 points to help Jackson State collect its second straight Southwestern Conference victory, holding on to beat Alabama State 63-60 on Wednesday night.
The Tigers built an eight-point lead at intermission, collecting 26 points in the paint and scoring 18 more off of Alabama State turnovers.

SE Louisiana upends Jackson St 84-71 behind Veal
HAMMOND, La. (AP) — Marlain Veal scored 22 points on 8-for-12 shooting and Dominc Nelson had 12 points and 13 rebounds sending Southeastern Louisiana past Jackson State 84-71 on Wednesday night.
Veal, who added a game-high six assists and two steals, scored in double figures for the third-straight game. Nelson had his first career double-double and both were career highs.
Jabbar Singleton and Eddy Polanco also had career highs with 15 and 12 points respectively.
Dennis leads Jackson State past NAIA Xavier (La.), 66-54
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Edric Dennis scored 21 points to lead Jackson State to a 66-54 over Xavier (Louisiana), in the Tigers' season opener on Friday.
Chace Franklin added 13 points, Yettra Specks had 10 and Janarius Middleton had seven points to go with 10 rebounds for Jackson State. Dennis had nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block.
