Elaine May Kraus, 90, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Sylvan Crossings in Jefferson.
Elaine was born in Fort Atkinson on May 27, 1926, the daughter of Elmer and Ella (Vandre) Mack.
Elaine married Allen Edward Kraus at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. He preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 2003.
Elaine was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson.
In his new Amazon comedy series “Crisis in Six Scenes,” 80-year-old Woody Allen plays Sidney, an ad writer-turned book-writer and aspiring TV-comedy writer, who’s been long married to Kay, a marriage counselor (played by 84-year-old Elaine May, Allen’s longtime pal). Their life gets upended by a feisty young house guest (Miley Cyrus). But as far as we can tell, there’s no romance between that character and Allen’s.
Woody Allen’s Amazon series gets fall debut date, title
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — Woody Allen's first small-screen series will debut on Amazon this fall.
The streaming service announced the Sept. 30 debut date as well as the title for Allen's project: "Crisis in Six Scenes." The comedy, set during the upheaval of the 1960s, focuses on a suburban family dealing with the chaos brought by a visitor. The cast includes Allen, Miley Cyrus and Elaine May.
