CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Darrell Brown hit 5 of 6 from beyond the arc to scored 29 points as Bradley picked up a rare road victory at Northern Iowa, 79-71 in a Missouri Valley Conference battle Wednesday night.
Coming into the game the home team in the all-time series between the teams had won 40 of 57 games. Northern Iowa won the first meeting between the schools on the road, 65-47.
Bradley wins 2nd straight MVC game, tops Illinois St 85-68
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Luuk van Bree and Darrell Brown combined to score 41 points and Bradley built a 17-point first-half lead and held on to beat I-74 rival Illinois State, 85-68 on Wednesday night.
Bradley now has won back-to-back Missouri Valley games after starting the conference season with five straight losses.
Brown helps Bradley win 1st MVC game 57-54 over Salukis
CARBONDALE, Ill. (AP) — Darrell Brown scored 16 points, hitting two key baskets down the stretch, and Bradley survived two missing 3-point attempts in the closing seconds to beat Southern Illinois 57-54 on Sunday.
Brown hit a shot-clocking beating 3-pointer with 1:17 to play to give the Braves a 54-50 lead and a jumper with a half-minute left to make it 56-52.
Drake builds big first-half lead to beat Bradley 69-52
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Nick McGlynn had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Drake built a big first-half lead to beat Bradley 69-52 on Wednesday night.
Drake (13-5, 2-3 Missouri Valley Conference) has defeated the Braves (8-10, 0-5) in three of the last four meetings.
The Bulldogs closed the first half on a 26-6 run for a 33-15 advantage at the break. Brady Ellingson made three 3-pointers during the surge.
Cook heats up late for Missouri St in 69-64 win over Bradley
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Keandre Cook scored five of his seven points in a 55-second span at the end to help complete Missouri State's rally with a 69-64 win over Bradley Saturday night.
Cook's 3-pointer brought the Bears within 64-63 with 1:38 remaining. Koch Bar missed a jump shot on Bradley's next possession and Cook snared the rebound. Following Missouri State's timeout, Cook laid it in for the go-ahead basket.
Northern Iowa downs Bradley 65-47 in MVC opener
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Trae Berhow scored 14 points with four 3-pointers and grabbed seven rebounds and Northern Iowa beat Bradley 65-47 in Wednesday night's Missouri Valley Conference opener.
Isaiah Brown also scored 14 points and AJ Green added 10 points and made four assists for the Panthers (6-8), who held Bradley to 38-percent shooting and are now 32-30 all-time against the Braves. Justin Dahl grabbed eight rebounds.

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Elijah Childs posted his second double-double in three games as Bradley cruised to an 86-70 victory over winless Chicago State on Saturday afternoon.
Darrell Brown knocked down four from long range to total 16 points and Luuk van Bree added 14 for the Braves. Childs finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds and three steals. Nate Kennell chipped in 10 points.

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Koch Bar scored 20 points on 7-for-8 shooting and grabbed six rebounds as Bradley led all the way and defeated Jacksonville State 73-65 Wednesday night, getting off to a 3-0 start for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye scored 22 points and pulled in five rebounds and Bradley beat Southeast Missouri State 68-57 on Saturday.
Lautier-Ogunleye was 13 of 15 from the foul line for the Braves (2-0). Darrell Brown added 15 points, six assists and three steals, Luuk van Bree had nine points off the bench and Elijah Childs had eight points and a team-high 11 boards. Bradley's nine team steals contributed to 15 Southeast Missouri State turnovers.

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Koch Bar scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Bradley beat Division II University of Wisconsin-Parkside 74-58 on Wednesday night.
Elijah Childs added 17 points, eight rebounds and four steals, Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye had 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals and Darrell Brown chipped in 10 points with four rebounds.
Bradley outrebounded Wisconsin Parkside 43-25 and had 13 team steals.
Davis’ put-back wins it for Indiana State, 66-64
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Qiydar Davis' put-back with six seconds left lifted Indiana State over Bradley 66-64 on Saturday in a regular-season finale.
Davis' offensive rebound and follow-up came after Jordan Barnes' missed jump shot. Bradley called a timeout to set up a final play, which went awry when Nate Kennell slipped after receiving a pass from Elijah Childs, who then missed a hurried shot at the buzzer.
Donte Thomas had tied the game for Bradley with 1:42 remaining with a bucket.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Nate Kennell hit 7 of 9 3-point attempts and scored a career-high 25 points to lead Bradley over Indiana State 81-73 on Sunday.
After the Sycamores held a lead for nearly nine minutes in the second half, Kennell made consecutive 3-pointers for a 70-64 lead with 2½ minutes remaining. Kennell added his final 3-pointer — his fifth of the half — plus two free throws for a nine-point lead with 36 seconds left.

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Darrell Brown scored 20 points with eight assists, Elijah Childs added 12 points with 12 rebounds and Bradley pulled away in the second half to defeat Missouri State 72-52 Tuesday night, maintaining a perfect record on its home court this season.
Jayden Hodgson made a 3-pointer to start a 16-2 breakaway run that turned a one-point lead into 17, 47-30, midway through the second half, and Bradley (15-7, 5-4 Missouri Valley Conference) wasn't challenged again.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Ryan Taylor hit four 3-pointers and scored 21 and Dru Smith had 14 points and six assists to lead Evansville to a 68-44 romp over Bradley on Saturday.
Blake Simmons chipped in with 12 points, five assists and three steals for Evansville (11-6, 1-3 Missouri Valley Conference), which shot 49 percent from the floor, made 8 of 15 from 3-point range and made all 10 of its free throws. PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Darrell Brown scored 24 points, Nate Kennell scored 14 and Donte Thomas grabbed 10 rebounds and Bradley used the second half to pull away from Northern Iowa 72-53 on Sunday.
The Panthers led 33-32 at halftime before Bradley (11-4, 1-1 Missouri Valley) exploded with 22-3 run to put the Braves ahead, 61-45 with 7:49 to play. Brown buried three 3s and a jumper during the run and Elijah Childs added a 3 and a jumper.
Bradley cruises to 67-5 win over Eastern Illinois
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Elijah Childs scored 14 points to go with nine rebounds, Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye got his first career double-double and Bradley slipped past Eastern Illinois 67-56 on Friday night.
Trailing by four in the first half, Bradley (7-1) got a 3-pointer from JoJo McGlaston to spark a 16-3 run that put the Braves on top for good.
Bradley holds off late charge by Georgia Southern, 62-57
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Darrell Brown hit three free throws in the final 18 seconds to help Bradley hold off a late charge by Georgia Southern and secure a 62-57 victory Saturday afternoon.
Both teams came into the contest with 5-1 records — which equals the Braves' best start in 32 years. The home team has won all five games in the all-time series.

The Braves built a 21-15 lead late in the first half, and a Kennell 3-pointer with 4:44 left in the period sparked a 17-2 finish to a 38-17 advantage at the break.
