Elko man, 58, died in SR225 rollover Friday north of town
ELKO, Nev. (AP) — The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal single-vehicle rollover last week in Elko County.
The patrol said Monday 58-year-old Scott McKay of Elko died in the crash Friday on State Route 225 about 12 miles (19 kilometers) north of Elko.
Investigators say they have not determined why, but McKay apparently allowed his 2012 Dodge pickup to drift off the paved shoulder at about 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Part of Lamoille Canyon reopens following wildfire

Dr. Devendra Patel of Elko pleaded guilty in federal court in Reno on Monday to one count of a drug distribution crime after being charged last December in a 39-count federal indictment alleging drug offenses and fraud.
