WASHINGTON (AP) — First baseman Ryan Zimmerman was put on the 10-day injured list Sunday by the Washington Nationals because of plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
Tied division leaders all take leads in Game 162
The NL West and NL Central were on track for tiebreaker games when the Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers all took leads in Game 162.
Any tiebreakers would be one-game matchups Monday and would be played at Wrigley Field and Dodger Stadium. If there are two games, the winners would get the division title and the losers would meet in the NL wild-card game Tuesday.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — With the NL West title still on the line, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts swapped starting pitchers to go with left-hander Rich Hill in Sunday's scheduled regular-season finale against the Giants.
The five-time reigning division champions began the day in a first-place tie with Colorado, with the Rockies set to host the Nationals in Game No. 162. If the teams finish even, a one-game tiebreaker would be held Monday at Dodger Stadium.
Nationals place Madson on DL with back injury
ST. LOUIS (AP) — The Washington Nationals have placed reliever Ryan Madson on the 10-day disabled list with a back injury.
Madson surrendered David Bote's game-ending grand slam in Sunday night's 4-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs. The Nationals said Monday that Madson was dealing with back issues, but the plan was for him to pitch through it.
The 37-year-old Madson is 2-5 with a 5.19 ERA and four saves in 48 games this season.
Red Sox sweep slumping Nationals with 3-0 win
WASHINGTON (AP) — Jackie Bradley Jr. drove in two runs, Eduardo Rodriguez struck out six in six innings and the Boston Red Sox beat the Washington Nationals 3-0 on Wednesday to complete a three-game sweep.
Rodriguez (10-3) allowed three hits and walked one. Craig Kimbrel worked the ninth for his 26th save in 28 chances, finishing a six-hitter.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Nationals right-hander Erick Fedde left in the second inning of his start against the Boston Red Sox after throwing just 25 pitches.
Training staff and manager Dave Martinez went to check on Fedde after he allowed a single to Rafael Devers to lead off the second on Wednesday. After a long conversation, Fedde walked off the field and was replaced by lefty Matt Grace.
The 25-year-old was coming off his first major league victory last weekend in Philadelphia.

The Nationals signed eight-year veteran Jeremy Hellickson to a minor league contract over the weekend, adding him to the mix that already included A.J. Cole and Erick Fedde. He would get a $2 million, one-year deal if added to the 40-man roster and the chance to earn $4 million in performance bonuses.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) — Tim Tebow made his first spring training start this year, struck out against reigning NL Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer and then singled off Washington's Erick Fedde in a 2-1 loss to by a New York Mets' split squad to the Nationals on Friday.
Batting fourth as the designated hitter, Tebow struck out on three pitches leading off the second inning.
Nationals promote top prospect Robles from minors
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Nationals promoted Victor Robles from Double-A Harrisburg on Thursday, leaving the top prospect speechless.
The 20-year-old Robles hit .300 with 10 homers, 47 RBIs and 27 steals in 114 games over two minor league stops this season. The outfielder signed with Washington as an undrafted free agent in July 2013.
Nationals send Fedde to DL; recall Cole, Severino
MIAMI (AP) — The Washington Nationals placed right-hander Erick Fedde on the 10-day disabled list on Monday, a move that allowed them to recall right-hander A.J. Cole from Triple-A Syracuse.
Cole was starting for the NL East leaders in Miami on Monday night.
The Nationals also recalled catcher Pedro Severino from Syracuse, his fifth recall of the season. He's 3 for 11 in nine appearances with the Nationals this season.

Adam Lind and Brian Goodwin homered in the fifth inning, and the Washington Nationals beat the Rockies 3-1 on Sunday night to split a day-night doubleheader.
In the first game, Charlie Blackmon had four hits and scored four runs, and the Rockies roughed up Erick Fedde in his major league debut to win 10-6.
Nationals’ Strasburg headed to 10-day DL
WASHINGTON (AP) — One day after expressing hope Stephen Strasburg would make his next start, the Washington Nationals will place the right-hander on the 10-day disabled list.
The official move will take place Thursday and be retroactive to Monday with right-hander Erick Fedde being called up from Triple-A Syracuse. Manager Dusty Baker announced the plan following Wednesday's 8-5 victory over Milwaukee.
"Backed up (Strasburg) just for precaution. He'll miss one turn," Baker said.
