NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Danny Garrick's 3-pointer with 4.2 seconds left lifted Nicholls State to a 64-63 victory over New Orleans on Saturday.
New Orleans had taken a one-point lead on Scott Plaisance's tip-in, and Damion Rosser made 1 of 2 free throws with 13 seconds remaining for a 63-61 edge. Rosser missed a runner at the buzzer.
New Orleans beats Northwestern State 81-73 in OT
NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) — Ezekiel Charles scored 10 of his career-high 31 points in overtime and New Orleans outscored Northwestern State 12-4 in the extra period for an 81-73 victory on Wednesday night.
New Orleans (13-9, 8-3 Southland Conference) has won four straight and eight of its last 10 games. Northwestern State (8-15, 3-7) has lost five of its last six.
Gates, Charles help New Orleans to beat Incarnate Word 89-72
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Gerrale Gates and Ezekiel Charles combined to score 35 points and lead New Orleans to its third straight Southland Conference victory, beating Incarnate Word 89-72 on Saturday.
Gates was 6 of 7 from the floor and 6 of 7 from the foul line to total 18 points. Charles added 17 points while pulling down nine rebounds for New Orleans (12-9, 7-3) which improved to 10-1 at home. UNO has won seven of its last nine conference games to hold down third place in the league standings.
Robinson sparks New Orleans to 61-52 win over Incarnate Word

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Hayden Koval matched his career high scoring 22 points on four 3-pointers and Central Arkansas held on to edge New Orleans 76-71 on Wednesday night.
Thatch Unruh added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Bears (10-10, 5-2 Southland Conference), who are on a four-game win streak. DeAndre Jones had 13 points and Eddy Kayouloud 10 points and six rebounds.
South scores 17, Islanders beat New Orleans 76-61
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Kareem South scored 17 points with three 3-pointers, Tre Gray added 15 with three 3s, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi pulled away in the second half to beat New Orleans 76-61 on Saturday night, ending the Privateers' four-game win streak.

New Orleans rolls past Governors State 97-53
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Ezekiel Charles scored 20 points and Damion Rosser 18 as New Orleans used a huge second half to beat Governors State 97-53 on Saturday.
Charles had six points and Scott Plaisance, Troy Green and Rosser five each in a 25-1 over a 5½-minute stretch to put New Orleans comfortably ahead 86-49.
Charles was 8-of-10 shooting with three 3-pointers and a game-high seven rebounds while Rosser was also 8 of 10. Plaisance added 14 points and Amari Haynes 13.
Bryant’s 19 points help UAB hold off New Orleans, 75-68
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Zack Bryant scored 19 points and Tavin Lovan and Jalen Perry each added 13 as UAB held off New Orleans to earn a 75-68 victory Wednesday night.
The victory is the 12th straight nonconference home victory for the Blazers. UAB beat Mercer in its season opener and had a week off between starts.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Bryson Robinson scored 13 points and New Orleans pulled away early in the second half to beat NCCAA Division II Pensacola Christian College 87-59 on Monday night.
Robinson was 6 of 11 from the floor. Ezekiel Charles added 12 points and Tyren Harrison had 11 for New Orleans (2-1), which is 5-0 against Pensacola Christian.
Ian Johnson scored 16 points to lead Pensacola Christian. Tyler Rose added 11 points and Jared McCrillis 10.
New Orleans swamps Spring Hill 95-66 in season opener
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Ezekiel Charles and Amari Haynes scored 17 points apiece as New Orleans opened the season with a resounding 95-66 win over Division III Spring Hill on Tuesday night.
New Orleans broke away midway in the first half, going on an 18-0 run to go ahead 41-14. The Privateers went into the break leading 50-22. They stretched that to a 71-30 advantage with 14:39 remaining in the game.
KATY, Texas (AP) — Josh Delaney made a career-high seven 3-pointers and finished with a career-best 25 points to lead Sam Houston State to an 85-63 victory over New Orleans on Thursday night in the second round of the Southland Conference Tournament.
No. 4 seed Sam Houston State (19-13) will play top-seeded Southeastern Louisiana (21-10) in a Friday semifinal game. The Bearkats beat Southeastern Louisiana at home 75-65 on Jan. 24 in their only regular-season matchup.

Incarnate Word never trailed in the first half, taking a 38-34 lead into the break. Ezekiel Charles had a layup and Thibodeaux slammed home a dunk to give New Orleans its first lead, 50-48 with 12:26 remaining.

Lamont Berzat scored 11 with four assists, Makur Puou had 10 points with nine rebounds, and Dionta Champion had a career-high 10 boards and three steals for the Privateers (2-5). New Orleans shot 54 percent from the field while holding the Eagles to 40.9 percent. Travin Thibodeaux blocked a career-high five shots.
