MADRID (AP) — Rafael Nadal could soon be making his return from injury after being included on Spain's team for the Davis Cup quarterfinals against Germany next month.
Nadal hasn't played since January, when a muscle injury in his left leg forced him to retire in the Australian Open quarterfinals.
Spain captain Sergi Bruguera, however, said they would see how Nadal's recovery goes before making a final decision on if he will play.

Rafael Nadal out of Davis Cup after grueling Australian Open
MADRID (AP) — Rafael Nadal is taking some time off after his Australian Open final loss to Roger Federer.
The Spanish tennis federation said Monday that Nadal has been dropped from Spain's Davis Cup team because of fatigue following his five-set loss to Federer in Sunday's final.
He will be replaced with Feliciano Lopez for next weekend's best-of-five series at Croatia in the first round of the World Group.

Spain, Japan and Australia took 2-0 leads in their Davis Cup World Group playoffs on Friday, although Rafael Nadal was a late withdrawal from his scheduled opening singles match in New Delhi.
