Police, firefighters and emergency medical crews responded to the incident shortly before 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Transit police with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority say the man was about 60 years old and was trespassing on the tracks when he was struck by an inbound Fitchburg Line MBTA commuter rail rain. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
