REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BlueVine, which provides small- and medium-sized businesses with access to fast and simple online financing, announced today that it has named Silicon Valley technology and engineering veteran, Herman Man, its Chief Product Officer. In this role, Man will focus on developing the next generation of BlueVine products and oversee the company’s product vision, strategy, design and execution to deliver on its mission to provide fast, fair and easy financing solutions every small business needs to thrive.

Man spent the past two decades building software and leading product strategy across technology startups and multinational corporations alike. He most recently held the role of Vice President of Product and Partnerships at Xero, an accounting software company focused specifically on the small- and medium-sized business market. Man also previously held several leadership roles at Microsoft across Windows and Azure and received multiple patents for his work across identity, distributed systems and commerce platform initiatives.

Additionally, Man served as Director of Product Management for software-as-a-service digital marketing platform, Hearsay Social. Before that, he co-founded Chewsy – a crowdsourced restaurant recommendation platform and mobile application. At Chewsy, Man was responsible for leading service architecture, design and development.

“As we continue to expand our product offerings, it is absolutely critical we have the leadership in place to take the company to new heights,” said Eyal Lifshitz, CEO and founder, BlueVine. “With both a proven track record of creating winning products, and a history in and passion for helping small businesses overcome financial challenges, Man is the ideal leader to serve as BlueVine’s Chief Product Officer, and we are thrilled to have him join our team.” “Having been an entrepreneur and business owner myself, and having spent the last four years building products for the small business market, I am keenly aware of the financial challenges small business owners face day in and day out,” said Man. “I am honored to join a successful, fast-growing organization that is truly revolutionizing financing for small businesses, and help lead and scale the BlueVine product team to build the next-generation technology and solutions on the platform to continue that growth.”

Man earned his BASc in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada.
