The $80,000 renovation, repainting and thorough cleaning of the Elkhart County Courthouse's clock is expected to start in early 2019 in Goshen.
The clock was installed in 1870 but later moved to the center of the courthouse during a renovation completed in 1909.

Hospital donates ultrasound machine to South Bend zoo
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Ailing animals at a northern Indiana zoo are getting high-tech help from Goshen Hospital.
The Potawatomi (pot-ah-WAH'-toh-mee) Zoo in South Bend has a long history of using ultrasound to detect health problems in animals. But Dr. Ronan Eustace, the zoo's veterinarian, says a newer model donated by the hospital is "vastly superior."
