COLOGNE, Germany (AP) — Hamburger SV defeated Cologne 3-1 for its second consecutive win to start the Bundesliga in a match stopped for nearly 10 minutes because of an injury to the referee on Friday.
Referee Felix Brych was hurt early in the second half and the match had to be halted until he was replaced by the fourth official.
Brych apparently injured a muscle while running by himself near midfield. He limped to the locker rooms and never came back.
