NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have re-signed wide receiver and kick returner Eric Weems a day after waiving him, and they also placed wide receiver Harry Douglas on injured reserve.

Douglas hit on Harris was legal but dirty
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Harry Douglas is correct in his argument that his low hit on Chris Harris Jr. is permissible. He's mistaken in his contention it was clean.
Tennessee's journeyman wide receiver — known now in Denver as the Titans' goon — was blocking toward his opponent's goal line, not away from the ball. And the play was still live, albeit nowhere near where Harris was standing.

Up-and-coming Kendricks in middle of it all with Minnesota
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Eric Kendricks had an up-and-down rookie year for Minnesota, learning on the job as the starter at middle linebacker, and a hamstring injury during training camp kept him out of all four preseason games last month.
The growth process has only begun for Kendricks, playing a vital position in coach Mike Zimmer's complex defense. Mistakes were made in the opener on Sunday at Tennessee, to be sure.
