CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Marlain Veal had 21 points as Southeastern Louisiana topped Central Arkansas 75-67 on Saturday. Moses Greenwood added 20 points for the Lions.
Veal made 11 of 12 free throws. He added seven assists. Greenwood had 11 rebounds for the Lions. He also had eight turnovers.
Parker Edwards had 16 points for Southeastern Louisiana (11-13, 7-4 Southland Conference), which earned its fifth consecutive road victory. Maxwell Starwood added seven rebounds.
Lane powers Northwestern State past Central Arkansas
CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Ishmael Lane had 22 points, 13 rebounds and two big free throws and Northwestern State held off Central Arkansas 80-75 on Saturday night.
Malik Metoyer made two free throws to give Northwestern State a 78-75 lead with 19 seconds to go. Although trailing by three, Central Arkansas got to the line twice in the next 10 seconds of play but missed all four free throws. Lane made two free throws with six seconds left to wrap up the win.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — Kevon Harris scored a career-high 33 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, Davonte Fitzgerald scored nine of his 29 points in overtime, and Stephen F. Austin beat Central Arkansas 105-99 on Wednesday night to win its third straight.
Abilene Christian rolls past Central Arkansas, 79-56
ABILENE, Texas (AP) — Jalone Friday scored 17 points and Abilene Christian claimed sole possession of second place in the Southland Conference by beating Central Arkansas, 79-56 on Saturday.

Central Arkansas closes strong, edges past Nicholls 74-69
CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Hayden Koval scored 20 points, pulled down eight rebounds and blocked six shots as Central Arkansas pushed its win streak to three games with a 74-68 defeat of Nicholls State on Saturday.
Eddy Kayouloud added 16 points for the Bears (9-10, 4-2 Southland), who fended off Nicholls in the last four minutes.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Eddy Kayouloud scored 18 points, Central Arkansas built a 24-point second-half lead and the Bears defeated Incarnate Word 77-60 on Wednesday night.
Central Arkansas led 51-46 with 12:39 left in the game before going on a 20-1 run over the next eight-plus minutes to lead 71-47. The run was highlighted by a three-possession stretch in which Matthew Mondesir had a 3-pointer and a 3-point play followed by a 3-pointer by Kayouloud.
Unruh helps Central Arkansas hold off Lamar 75-68
CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Thatch Unruh hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points and Central Arkansas shot 52 percent from beyond the arc in a 75-68 victory over Lamar on Saturday.
Unruh sank 4 of 8 from distance and added four assists for the Bears (7-10, 2-2 Southland Conference). Reserve Matthew Mondesir contributed 13 points, matching his career high, and added four rebounds and four assists. DeAndre Jones and Hayden Koval finishd with 10 points apiece.
Central Arkansas tops Lyon 62-47 to end 3-game skid
CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Hayden Koval finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and six blocked shots and Central Arkansas had all 13 players score in a 62-47 victory over NAIA-member Lyon College on Sunday.
Both teams struggled on offense. Central Arkansas (5-8) shot 44 percent from the floor, but just 30 percent from 3-point range, while the Scots shot 35 percent from the floor, 37.5 percent from distance and 45.5 percent at the foul line.
Enoch, Nwora enjoy big nights in Louisville’s rout

The year-long competition pits the two schools against each other in 11 sports. The basketball win was worth four points to the Bears. Counting fall sports competition, Central Arkansas holds an 18.5-3.5 lead in the first year of the competition.
