Running game will be difference for Georgia win over Tide
ATLANTA (AP) — To win national championships the old-school, SEC way, you must have a smothering defense packed with big plays and a strong kicking game.
Most importantly, you must run the ball.
Then run it some more.
Georgia's running game is deeper and better than Alabama's, by only a slight margin. That'll be the difference in Monday night's national championship game.

MONROE — In an era where the spread offense is in vogue, Jack Roberge represents a piece of the past. A powerful, downhill runner who would rather run through a would-be tackler than avoid one, Roberge is a breath of fresh air to everyone except the opponents whose job it is to stop him.
“He’s an old-school, hard-nosed runner,” Masuk quarterback Matt Hersch said Friday before practice. “An announcer was comparing him the other day to Herschel Walker.”
Jimmy Butler’s arrival makes this the best roster in Timberwolves history
New players often are described as pieces of a puzzle. That isnt quite right. Puzzles are two-dimensional and static. In sports, adding a key player is more like trying to inject a sprinting racehorse with adrenaline while rounding the backstretch, a delicate, maybe even dangerous procedure.
