Jerry Glanville stepping down as Tiger-Cats’ assistant
HAMILTON, Ontario (AP) — Jerry Glanville has resigned as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' defensive coordinator because of personal reasons.
The Ticats announced Friday that the 77-year-old Glanville would not return for a second season with the Canadian Football League team.

Ex-Titan Bishop selected to Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Former Tennessee Titans safety Blaine Bishop has been selected to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.
Bishop learned of his selection Saturday in a surprise announcement during a Titans homecoming alumni event. He will be inducted at a June 16 banquet.
Bishop was selected to four Pro Bowls while playing for the Houston Oilers and Tennessee Titans from 1993 to 2001. The former eighth-round draft pick from Ball State finished his career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2002.
Bills counting on ‘The Comeback’ to aid Harvey relief effort
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — This time, the Buffalo Bills are counting on "The Comeback" to benefit Houston during their season opener on Sunday.
The Bills' celebration honoring those who played in Buffalo's 41-38 overtime win over the Houston Oilers in the 1993 AFC wild-card playoff game will coincide with league-wide efforts to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Bills overcame a 32-point deficit in the largest comeback in NFL history.
