The West Shore Community College Student Senate will welcome “America’s Got Talent” contestant Chris Jones to the college’s Center Stage Theater for a free performance at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.
One of the newest and most energetic hypnosis performers, Jones has been called, “the Adam Sandler of hypnosis.”
He offers a high-energy show that is interactive for those being hypnotized and the audience.

Howie Mandel bringing stand-up routine to Ridgefield
RIDGEFIELD - Comedian and game show host Howie Mandel will bring his stand-up routine to the Ridgefield Playhouse next week, according to a release.
Mandel, a judge on the NBC series “America’s Got Talent” and the host of the NBC game show “Deal or No Deal,” will perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 23.
He will appear with comedian John Mendoza, the release said.

"Deconstructing Stigma: A Change in Thought Can Change a Life" opens Friday and is one piece of a campaign by McLean Hospital aimed at changing the way mental illness is perceived and treated.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Simon Cowell will serve as a judge on "America's Got Talent" through 2019.
NBC said Tuesday that Cowell has signed on as part of the talent show's judging panel for three more seasons.
Cowell, who created "America's Got Talent," was a judge on the hit summertime series for the first time this year. He already knew the ropes: He was among the original "American Idol" judges.
