Barker, Troy east past Georgia State 37-20
TROY, Ala. (AP) — Kaleb Barker was 9-of-10 passing for 136 yards and two touchdowns — all in the first half — and Troy cruised by Georgia State 37-20 on Thursday night to extend the nation's third-longest conference winning streak.
Troy (5-1, 3-0 Sun Belt) has won nine straight leagues games, trailing UCF and Oklahoma.
TROY – Troy quarterback Brandon Silvers had finished with his practice reps. So had running back Jordan Chunn.

TROY – Hunter Reese wanted to play college football so badly he paid his own way to do it.
He tipped the scales around 190 pounds when he first arrived at Troy University, a late arrival in the 2014 fall camp when the walk-ons were added once school started.
The 6-foot-1 graduate of Wetumpka High School began his college career at safety and moved to nickelback and eventually outside linebacker as he literally grew into a role on the defense.
