Brodeur scores 36 to lead Penn past Dartmouth 82-79 in OT
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — AJ Brodeur scored six of his career-high 36 points in overtime and grabbed the last rebound to help Pennsylvania beat Dartmouth 82-79 on Friday night.
Dartmouth trailed 80-79 and had possession with 14.9 remaining in the extra period. Chris Knight drove to the basket but his shot rimmed out. Brodeur grabbed the rebound with 0.6 seconds left then added a pair of free throws. Ian Sistare's half-court shot hit the top of the backboard to end it.
Brown rallies late to beat Dartmouth 60-58
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Obi Okolie scored 15 points, 10 in the second half, and Brown pulled out a 60-58 victory over Dartmouth on Friday night.
Knight scores 20, hot-shooting Dartmouth beats Harvard
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Chris Knight scored 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field and hot-shooting Dartmouth defeated Harvard 81-63 in an Ivy League opener on Saturday night.
Dartmouth shot 68 percent from the field and no player for the Big Green missed more than three shots. Dartmouth had 21 assists on 32 baskets and connected on 11 of 21 3-pointers.
Vermont beats Dartmouth in 11 straight, wins 73-59
BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Anthony Lamb had 21 points, matched a career-best with 14 rebounds and blocked a career-high six shots to lead Vermont to a 73-59 victory over Dartmouth on Wednesday night.
Vermont (10-4) has beaten Dartmouth (9-7) in 11 straight games, it longest active winning streak against a nonconference opponent. Lamb also surpassed 1,000 career points, the 12th Catamount to reach the milestone during his junior season or sooner.
Dartmouth hands UNH 10th straight loss 76-68
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Ian Sistare scored 21 points and Dartmouth rallied in the second half to defeat New Hampshire 76-68 on Sunday.
Dartmouth trailed 49-42 with 13:12 to go when the Big Green outscored the Wildcats 28-11 over the next 11 minutes led by 10 points from Aaryn Rai and the team's 12-of-14 shooting from the free-throw line. The Wildcats got within four after David Watkins' 3-point play with 1:23 left before Dartmouth scored seven consecutive points from the line.
Barry scores 31 points, leads Dartmouth over BU 78-68
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Brendan Barry made eight 3-pointers and scored a career-high 31 points to lead Dartmouth to a 78-68 victory over Boston University on Thursday night for its first three-game winning streak in two years.
Barry matched a career-best with eight 3s, and is the first player to put up 30 points in Leede Areana since Miles Wright scored 39 in 2015. Chris Knight had 20 points and Ian Sistare added 10 for Dartmouth (7-5). The trio made 24 of the Big Green's 30 field goals.
Jackson scores 20, Dartmouth beats Sacred Heart 82-73
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Adrease Jackson scored 20 points, Chris Knight had seven points, 12 rebounds, nine assists and four blocks and Dartmouth beat Sacred Heart 82-73 on Monday.
Jackson, a sophomore, had his second 20-point game of the season and third of his career. Knight, the reigning Ivy League player of the week, set career highs in rebounds and assists.
Young scores late, lifts Quinnipiac past Dartmouth, 64-59
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Cameron Young hit 3 of 4 free throw attempts and added a layup in the final 18 seconds to lift Quinnipiac to a 64-59 win at Dartmouth on Wednesday night, the sixth straight win over the Big Green for the Bobcats.
The Bobcats entered the game on the heels of a tough, 71-61 loss to Stony Brook.
Dartmouth handles Elms College 100-54 behind Foye, Barry
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — James Foye scored 21 points with five 3-pointers, Ian Carter added 15 points and Dartmouth ran away from Division III Elms College 100-54 on Tuesday night.
Brendan Barry scored 14 points with four 3-pointers, Adrease Jackson scored 12 points, Ian Sistare added 10 and Chris Knight grabbed 11 rebounds for Dartmouth (3-1), which shot 53 percent from the field.
Dartmouth downs Princeton 72-56
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Taylor Johnson scored 21 points and Dartmouth picked up its first conference win, downing Princeton 72-56 on Saturday night, snapping a 10-game skid.
Johnson was 7 of 9 from the field including two 3-pointers for the Big Green (5-16, 1-7 Ivy league) Adrease Jackson added 16 points and Miles Wright led the team with 10 rebounds in addition to his seven points.
The team shot 47 percent from the field compared to 40 percent for Princeton and had a 43-23 rebounding edge.
Smith with 20 points leads Columbia over Dartmouth 77-74
NEW YORK (AP) — Mike Smith scored 20 points and Columbia kept Dartmouth winless in the Ivy League with a 77-74 victory on Saturday night.
Quinton Adlesh added 18 points on 6 of 10 shooting from distance for the Lions (6-13, 3-3). Lukas Meisner scored 16 points and led with 11 rebounds. Kyle Castlin also scored 16 and Patrick Tape had 10 rebounds.
Adlesh sank three 3-pointers early and Smith and Meisner each added another to help Columbia to a 21-12 lead and the Lions were up 39-27 at intermission.
Yale tops Dartmouth 74-64 behind Copeland’s 25 points
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Alex Copeland scored 25 points, Trey Phills added 17 with a career-high nine rebounds, and Yale beat Dartmouth 74-64 on Saturday night.
Miye Oni scored 15 points with three 3-pointers and five assists for the Bulldogs (9-11, 2-2 Ivy League), who shot 50.9 percent from the field to Dartmouth's 45.5 percent.
