DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Shawntrez Davis scored 18 points, Mark Gordon added 17 and Bethune-Cookman broke a school record with its largest Division I margin of victory, 104-44 over Trinity Baptist on Tuesday night.
The previous school record was 56 points against Morris Brown in 1996.
Isaiah Bailey scored 10 points and Cletrell Pope grabbed 11 rebounds for the Wildcats, who never trailed and shot 58.8 percent from the field (40 of 60) and 11 of 27 from 3.
NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Tiwian Kendley scored 31 points and made two free throws with 7.9 seconds remaining to help No. 7 seed Morgan State upset second-seeded Bethune-Cookman 78-77 on Wednesday night in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal.
Phillip Carr had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Morgan State (13-18), which moves on to a Friday semifinal game.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Soufiyane Diakite had a perfect shooting night to score 27 points, grab 14 rebounds and power Bethune-Cookman to an 89-77 win over Florida A&M to claim a share of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference title Thursday night in the final game of the regular season.

Tabb picks up Bethune-Cookman, holds off Coppin State 89-85
BALTIMORE (AP) — Brandon Tabb scored a season-high 34 points and knocked down 5 of 6 from the free-throw line in the final 17 seconds as Bethune-Cookman held off Coppin State to earn an 89-85 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats entered the game tied for second place, two games behind Savannah State with four games left in the regular season, including a battle with the Tigers Saturday.
Bethune-Cookman coasts to 99-81 win over NC Central
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Brandon Tabb scored 25 points with four steals, Isaiah Bailey added 22 points and eight assists and Bethune-Cookman beat North Carolina Central 99-81 on Monday night.
The Wildcats (14-12, 8-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) scored 12 straight to jump to a 39-17 lead and led by as many as 24 on their way to a 55-31 halftime advantage. Bethune-Cookman led by no less than 18 in the second half and had its largest lead at 89-60 shortly after the seven-minute mark.
Bethune-Cookman runs away from Maryland-Eastern Shore, 87-67
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Isaiah Bailey turned in a career high 24 points, six boards, seven assists and four steals to help power Bethune-Cookman to an 87-67 win over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Saturday.
The Wildcats shot 53 percent from the field in the first half to take a 41-29 lead at the break. Maryland-Eastern Shore closed in a rush, hitting 11 of its first 12 shots in the second half to cut its deficit to 56-54 with 11:05 left.
Norfolk State beats Bethune-Cookman 83-79
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Preston Bungei had 20 points and 11 rebounds, Kyle Williams added 16 points with four 3-pointers and Norfolk State beat Bethune-Cookman 83-79 on Monday night.
Williams hit a 3-pointer with 4:18 remaining for a 75-66 lead but Bethune-Cookman scored seven of the next nine, with a 3 from Jeffrey Altidort, to make it 77-73 at 1:52.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Isaiah Bailey scored four of his 22 points in overtime to help Bethune-Cookman beat Howard 92-87 on Saturday night.
Bailey was 7 of 14 shooting and made 7 of 10 free throws. Soufiyane Diakite added 21 points and 13 rebounds, and Jeffery Altidort chipped in 16 points for the Wildcats (7-9, 2-0 Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference), who outscored Howard 10-5 in the extra period.

Bethune-Cookman holds off Cal Poly, 67-53
DAYTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Malik Maitland scored 21 points, Shawntrez Davis added 19 and Bethune-Cookman beat Cal Poly 67-53 on Tuesday night.
Maitland was 8 of 17 from the floor and made three 3-pointers. Davis was 6-of-14 shooting and had 10 rebounds. Isaiah Bailey chipped in 11 points for Bethune-Cookman (5-5). Soufiyane Diakite and Houston Smith each grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.
Boston University holds on, beats Bethune-Cookman 90-87
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Nick Havener scored 17, Max Mahoney added 16 and Boston University overcame a late surge from Bethune-Cookman for a 90-87 win on Friday night.
The Terriers (4-4) had a 9-0 run to lead 77-70, but the Wildcats (4-5) took an 85-84 lead with 1:21 left when Isaiah Bailey's 3-pointer capped a 7-1 run.
Davis guides Bethune-Cookman past Jacksonville 77-66
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Shawntrez Davis posted his fourth double-double of the season with 28 points and 10 rebounds and Bethune-Cookman beat Jacksonville 77-66 on Thursday night.
Davis made 11 of 16 from the field for the Wildcats (4-3), who picked up a fourth win in November for the first time in school history. Malik Maitland added 16 points, four assists and three steals for Bethune-Cookman, while Isaiah Bailey contributed 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Bethune-Cookman puts win on Tabb, tops Florida College 95-67
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Brandon Tabb launched 17 3-point attempts, connecting on five and scoring 19 points to lead Bethune-Cookman in a 95-67 rout of Florida College on Saturday.
Both teams attempted 37 shots from behind the arc. The Wildcats connected 10 times. The Falcons, who compete in the small-school oriented USCAA, connected on nine.
Shawntrez Davis finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds for Bethune-Cookman (3-3) and Soufiyane Diakite contributed 15 points and eight boards.
Tabb has 26, Bethune-Cookman tops Grambling 87-78
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Brandon Tabb scored 26 points, hitting half of Bethune-Cookman's 12 3-pointers, and the Wildcats turned back Grambling 87-78 on Tuesday night.
Isaiah Bailey had three 3s and 14 points for the Wildcats (2-3), with Shawntrez Davis adding 11 and Soufiyane Diakite 10.
Bethune-Cookman had seven 3s, four from Tabb, and made 17 of 33 overall to lead 44-35 at the half.
Lammers helps Georgia Tech avoid upset, 65-62
ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia Tech senior center Ben Lammers narrowly missed his first career triple-double Sunday with 19 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocked shots to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 65-62 win over Bethune-Cookman.
Freshman Jose Alvarado added 18 points to help Georgia Tech (1-1) move to 31-0 against schools from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. But Bethune-Cookman (1-3) made the Yellow Jackets work in their home opener.
Dixon, McDonald help UT Rio Grande Valley to 92-74 win
EDINBURG, Texas (AP) — Nick Dixon scored 18 points, Moe McDonald made four 3-pointers and 11 players scored as Texas Rio Grande Valley defeated Bethune-Cookman 92-74 on Monday night.
Jordan Jackson added 13 points for UT Rio Grande, which made 27 of 64 field goals (42 percent) and was 11 of 28 from 3-point range. The Vaqueros (1-1) outrebounded Bethune-Cookman 48-36, including 34 defensive boards, and had 22 assists to Bethune-Cookman's seven.
