CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Trae Berhow had a season-high 20 points as Northern Iowa topped Illinois State 77-64 on Wednesday night.
Spencer Haldeman had 16 points for Northern Iowa (11-15, 6-7 Missouri Valley Conference). AJ Green added 13 points. Isaiah Brown had 10 points for the home team.
Wyatt Lohaus, whose 10 points per game heading into the matchup was second on the Panthers, shot only 14 percent for the game (1 of 7).
Bradley wins on the road, tops Northern Iowa 79-71
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Darrell Brown hit 5 of 6 from beyond the arc to scored 29 points as Bradley picked up a rare road victory at Northern Iowa, 79-71 in a Missouri Valley Conference battle Wednesday night.
Coming into the game the home team in the all-time series between the teams had won 40 of 57 games. Northern Iowa won the first meeting between the schools on the road, 65-47.
Haldeman scores 15 in Northern Iowa’s win over Missouri St
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Spencer Haldeman scored 15 points, making all three of his 3-point tries, and Northern Iowa held off Missouri State 64-59 on Saturday night.
Although there were five ties and 10 lead changes, Northern Iowa held a slight lead throughout much of the game. Haldeman gave UNI a little breathing room, making a 3-pointer for a 57-53 lead with 1:44 remaining. Tulio Da Silva made two free throws for Missouri State with 1:15 to go.

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Spencer Haldeman scored 24 points off the bench and Northern Iowa beat Evansville 81-74 on Saturday night, snapping a two-game skid.
Trae Berhow added 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers (9-12, 4-4 Missouri Valley Conference). Isaiah Brown had 12 points and Luke McDonnell had 10 points and led the team with a career-best 14 rebounds.
Illinois State downs Northern Iowa 70-69 behind Yarbrough
NORMAL, Ill. (AP) — Milik Yarbrough scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds, Phil Fayne added 19 points with seven boards, and Illinois State held off Northern Iowa 70-69 on Tuesday night.
Matt Chastain scored 12 points for the Redbirds (9-7, 2-1 Missouri Valley Conference), who trailed 33-32 at halftime but Fayne opened the second half with a basket and they never trailed again.
Pippen leads Southern Illinois past Northern Iowa 58-51
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Kavion Pippen tossed in 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting and Southern Illinois turned back Northern Iowa 58-51 on Saturday night.
Aaron Cook and Marcus Bartley scored 14 and 13, respectively, for the Salukis (9-6, 2-0 Missouri Valley Conference), who got just three points from their bench.
Northern Iowa downs Bradley 65-47 in MVC opener
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Trae Berhow scored 14 points with four 3-pointers and grabbed seven rebounds and Northern Iowa beat Bradley 65-47 in Wednesday night's Missouri Valley Conference opener.
Isaiah Brown also scored 14 points and AJ Green added 10 points and made four assists for the Panthers (6-8), who held Bradley to 38-percent shooting and are now 32-30 all-time against the Braves. Justin Dahl grabbed eight rebounds.

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Wyatt Lohaus scored 19 points, AJ Green and Isaiah Brown added 16 apiece, and Northern Iowa cruised past Division II Bemidji State 97-51 in Tuesday night's season opener, scoring its most points since beating North Texas 93-70 on Nov. 30, 2015.
Miles Wentzien scored 11 points and Lincoln Conrey added 10 for the Panthers, who never trailed and led by 50 points with 3:12 to play.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Nick McGlynn scored 17 points and Drake led virtually the entire way in taking a 71-64 victory over Northern Iowa on Saturday.
The teams were tied briefly with 1:45 left in the first half before the Bulldogs scored the final seven points to lead 35-28. The lead was 10 points with 3:24 remaining after a jumper and two free throws by McGlynn. Isaiah Brown's bucket cut the lead to five with 22 seconds remaining before Reed Timmer finished the scoring with two free throws.
Indiana State halts skid, shoots past Northern Iowa, 77-66
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Brenton Scott scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Indiana State pulled away from Northern Iowa in the second half to take a 77-66 Missouri Valley Conference victory and snap a three-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon.
Scott knocked down three 3-pointers, giving him 257 career treys and leaving him 26 shy of the school record.
N. Iowa uses 25-0 run to hold off Illinois St. for 83-72 win
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Isaiah Brown scored 20 points and Bennett Koch scored 11 of his 17 points from the foul line and Northern Iowa beat Illinois State 83-72 on Wednesday night.
Northern Iowa (11-10, 3-6 Missouri Valley Conference) led 15-14 then exploded on a 25-0 run that included six 3-pointers, including three by Brown. Illinois State went scoreless for 9½ minutes and trailed 41-19 at halftime.

Bradley run sends Braves past N. Iowa 72-53
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Darrell Brown scored 24 points, Nate Kennell scored 14 and Donte Thomas grabbed 10 rebounds and Bradley used the second half to pull away from Northern Iowa 72-53 on Sunday.
The Panthers led 33-32 at halftime before Bradley (11-4, 1-1 Missouri Valley) exploded with 22-3 run to put the Braves ahead, 61-45 with 7:49 to play. Brown buried three 3s and a jumper during the run and Elijah Childs added a 3 and a jumper.
Northern Iowa romps to 80-47 win over D-III member Dubuque
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Bennett Koch totaled 12 points and seven rebounds and Isaiah Brown and reserve Wyatt Lohaus scored 11 apiece to power Northern Iowa to an 80-47 victory over Division III member Dubuque on Sunday.
Koch opened the scoring with a layup, Brown followed with a pair of 3-pointers and Northern Iowa shot out to a 15-0 lead.
Carlson, Haldeman lead Northern Iowa over UT Arlington 62-58
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Klint Carlson scored 24 points, Spencer Haldeman added 10, including a key 3-pointer with 25 seconds left, to help Northern Iowa beat UT Arlington 62-58 on Thursday night.
Northern Iowa (7-2) led 59-52 with three minutes remaining before Kaelon Wilson and Kevin Hervey each made a 3-pointer to pull the Mavericks to 59-58 with 50 seconds left. Haldeman answered with a 3, and Hervey missed two 3-point attempts to end it.
Northern Iowa beats NC State 64-60 in Battle 4 Atlantis
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) — Northern Iowa focused on playing tough defense and avoiding mistakes that could give North Carolina State's pressure defense momentum-producing turnovers.

With the Monarchs' victory, Old Dominion (9-3, 7-1) tied Western Kentucky atop the Conference USA's East Division. However, Western Kentucky, which defeated the Monarchs last month and beat Marshall 60-6 Saturday night, will face West champ Louisiana Tech in the conference title game on Dec. 3. The Monarchs have won five straight games.
Northern Iowa opens with 74-37 win over Coe College
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Bennett Koch and Jeremy Morgan scored 11 points apiece and Northern Iowa cruised to a 74-37 season-opening win over Coe College on Saturday.
The Panthers had an early 17-0 run to build a 22-4 lead and their Division III foe never mounted a challenge. It was 45-18 at the half as the Kohawks shot 29 percent and had 10 turnovers before the break.
Morgan had all of his points during the run, including three 3-pointers.
