The Colorado goalie made 24 saves, Gabriel Landeskog scored his team-leading 30th goal and the Avalanche ended their season-high eight-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.

Nathan MacKinnon scored twice, Semyon Varlamov made 36 saves and the streaking Avalanche beat Nashville 3-2 on Tuesday night.
Tyson Jost had the other goal for the Avalanche, who have won five straight. Colorado also ended an 11-game losing streak to Nashville in the regular season. The teams met in the first round of the playoffs last season, with Nashville winning the series in six games.

J.T. Compher and Mikko Rantanen scored 45 seconds apart late in the third period, and the Avalanche rallied to beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 on Saturday night.

Sven Andrighetto and J.T. Compher scored first-period goals for the Avalanche, who improved to 11-0-0-1 in their past 12 games in Boston since the most recent loss on March 30, 1998.
Duchene ends slump as Avalanche beat Red Wings 3-1
DENVER (AP) — Matt Duchene raised his arms and exhaled as he circled around the net following his first goal since Feb. 19.
What he calls the "worst slump" of his life is finally over.
Duchene scored for the first time in 12 games and the Colorado Avalanche beat the Detroit Red Wings 3-1 on Wednesday night.
"I think you could tell by my reaction how relieved I was," Duchene said. "I don't know if I've ever scored a goal that felt better than that one."
