FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Jarred Reuter scored 24 points to lead George Mason to its second straight win, a 78-63 victory over North Carolina Central in a campus game of the Emerald Coast Classic Tournament on Tuesday night.
George Mason (2-3) opened the season with three consecutive losses before topping Southern 69-65 on Saturday.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nick Robinson led a balanced attack with 14 points, Taylor Funk had a double-double and fourth-seeded Saint Joseph's pulled away for a 68-49 win over fifth-seeded George Mason on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic-10 Conference Tournament.
Funk had 12 points and 10 rebounds, James Demery had 12 points off the bench and Shavar Newkirk added 13 points for the Hawks (16-15), who face top-seeded and 25th ranked Rhode Island in the semifinals.

Lane was 11 of 13 from the field for the Rams (14-8, 6-3 Atlantic 10), who had a 50-27 rebounding edge over George Mason. Justin Tillman scored 18 points with 11 rebounds before fouling out, De'Riante Jenkins added 15 points and Jonathan Williams had 10 points and six assists.

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Marquise Moore scored a career-high 28 points and George Mason rolled to a 95-75 victory over LaSalle on Saturday night.
Moore was 10 of 16 from the floor and made three 3-pointers. Jaire Grayer added 22 points and Otis Livingston II 19 for the Patriots (15-8, 5-5 Atlantic 10), who shot 63 percent (31 of 49) from the field and made 10 3-pointers. Jalen Jenkins chipped in 16 points.

ST BONAVENTURE, N.Y. (AP) — Denzel Gregg scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as St. Bonaventure handled George Mason, 82-72 in an Atlantic 10 Conference contest Saturday.

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Marquise Moore scored 24 points, including four free throws in the last half-minute as George Mason rallied for its first Atlantic 10 Conference win this season, beating UMass 86-81 on Wednesday night.
After falling behind in the second half, George Mason (11-4, 1-1) went on a 16-4 run to lead 69-61 on a Jaire Grayer 3-pointer with 5:54 to play. UMass (10-5, 0-2) scored the next seven to regain the lead, but a Grayer 3-point play sparked a 10-0 run for the Patriots.
VCU controls George Mason in 73-64 A-10 opening win
FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — JeQuan Lewis scored a season high 26 points and Mo Alie-Cox had 14 points and nine rebounds sending VCU to a 73-64 win against George Mason in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams Friday night.
The Rams led 36-35 at halftime and never trailed after the break. Ian Boyd's jumper brought the Patriots to within 49-45 with 13:05 to play, and he made one of two free throws six minutes later to make 59-55, but they couldn't get closer.
George Mason cruises by Longwood for eighth straight win
FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Marquise Moore scored 17 points, added eight rebounds and George Mason cruised to victory over Longwood 97-60 on Monday night.
Otis Livingston and Jaire Grayer also had 17 points apiece for the Patriots (9-3), who have won eight straight games following a 1-3 start to the season.
George Mason shot 46 percent from the field, hit 10 3-pointers, and finished an efficient 29 of 33 at the free throw line.
