ST. LOUIS (AP) — Javon Bess had 17 points and 11 rebounds and made all six of his free throws Saturday night to help Saint Louis beat Fordham 73-50.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Javon Bess scored 20 points and Saint Louis won for the third time in its last four games, holding off Dayton 75-65 in an Atlantic 10 battle Saturday afternoon.

MIDDLETON — After a week completing final exams in the classroom, the Sun Prairie boys basketball team anticipated another test on the court Friday night from Big Eight Conference rival Middleton.
But an ankle injury sustained in the final 10 minutes of practice Thursday sidelined Middleton’s leading scorer, 6-foot-4 senior forward Brogan Brunker, and altered the complexion of the game.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Aaron Hines had 18 points, Jalen Johnson scored 17, Jordan Goodwin added 16 on Tuesday night and Saint Louis rallied early in the second half for a 74-66 win over Campbell.
The Billikens (6-6) trailed for most of the first half and went into the intermission down 38-30. They opened the second half with an 18-3 run and never trailed again.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Jordan Goodwin scored 20 points to lead Saint Louis to a 74-69 victory over Southern Illinois on Wednesday night.
Jalen Johnson and Hasahn French added 12 points apiece for Saint Louis (4-4), which shot 45 percent from the floor but made just 6 of 22 from long range and missed seven free throws.
Jonathan Wiley scored 19 points to lead Southern Illinois (4-3). Armon Fletcher and Marcus Bartley each had 12 points, Sean Lloyd Jr. had 11 and Kavion Pippen 10.
Saint Louis pulls away from Rockhurst 74-50
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Jalen Johnson had 14 points, Hasahn French added 13 and Saint Louis got red-hot in the second half to defeat Division-II Rockhurst 74-50 on Monday night.
The Billikens (2-0) made just 2 of 10 3-pointers and shot 41 percent (9 of 22) to lead 29-26 at the half. In the second half they made all four 3-pointers and shot 73 percent (16 of 22) to outscore the Hawks (1-2) 45-24.
Javon Bess, Davell Roby and D.J. Foreman each added 10 points for Saint Louis.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee will have at least three players unavailable for its exhibition games in Europe as they recover from injuries.
Guard Jalen Johnson underwent surgery Tuesday for a stress fracture in his left shin. Forward John Fulkerson is recovering from a torn labrum. Guard Jordan Bowden had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee last week.

George Washington pulls ahead late in A-10 tourney win
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Yuta Watanabe scored 18 points, Jair Bolden hit a key 3-pointer and George Washington pulled away late to beat Saint Louis 53-46 on Thursday night in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament.
No. 6 seed George Washington (19-13) plays third-seeded Richmond in a Friday quarterfinal.
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Davell Roby scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Saint Louis turned away La Salle in an Atlantic 10 Conference battle Wednesday night.
The Billikens avoid a series sweep after falling at La Salle, 75-54 in January.
Saint Louis (11-19, 6-11) took the lead for good on a 3-pointer by Zeke Moore with 9:13 left in the first half and by halftime the Billikens had extended the lead to 36-28.

Aldridge’s 24 leads Davidson to 77-66 win over Saint Louis
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Peyton Aldridge scored 15 of his 24 points in the first half and Davidson defeated Saint Louis 77-66 on Sunday.
The Wildcats raced to a 13-3 lead and went on a 26-11 tear over the last 7½ minutes of the first half for a 47-28 lead. Aldridge had five free throws in the last 2:39 when Davidson had a 13-2 run.
LSU’s Campbell, Ga. Tech’s Johnson arrested in Atlanta
ATLANTA (AP) — A report by the Georgia Tech campus police says LSU freshman offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell and Georgia Tech sophomore defensive back Jalen Johnson are facing criminal charges after allegedly getting in a fight outside a fraternity house.
The officer responding to the scene says in the report that he came upon several men with bruises to their faces and heads saying they'd been punched by the two players, who were subsequently arrested on Sunday.
