The rookie fourth-round pick began the season as Philadelphia's fifth cornerback, but has become one of the team's most valuable defensive players. Maddox entered the starting lineup at safety in Week 5 after Rodney McLeod sustained a season-ending knee injury and backup Corey Graham got hurt.

Sproles returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the previous seven games but re-injured his hamstring and won't play against the Cowboys on Sunday night. Pederson wouldn't say who will return punts in place of Sproles.

Philadelphia Eagles safety Rodney McLeod hosted a Halloween Ping-Pong-A-Palooza at SPiN Philadelphia October 30th to benefit the American Association for Cancer Research.
Party goers came out dressed up in their Halloween costumes and indulged in gourmet food and ping-pong games to support McLeod in his mission to raise money for cancer research. He was joined by fellow Eagles teammates including defensive backs Jalen Mills and Malcolm Jenkins.

Darby suffered a gruesome right ankle injury and was carted off the field. However, it appears the injury won't end his season. Reports say an MRI on Monday revealed no ligament damage, meaning Darby could return within six weeks. Coach Doug Pederson said the team is still gathering information on the injury.
