MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Jamar Akoh scored 25 points while grabbing 10 rebounds to help Montana knock off Weber State 75-68 on Saturday night.
The Wildcats (13-7, 7-2 Big Sky) had won four straight and eight of their last nine games before encountering Montana Saturday. Weber State's only conference loss was to Southern Utah 90-82 in overtime on Jan. 5.
Akoh, Rorie lead Montana past Idaho State
MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Jamar Akoh had 22 points and 17 rebounds, Montana made a pair of second-half runs stand up, and the Grizzlies defeated Idaho State 80-69 on Thursday night.
Ahmaad Rorie had 19 points and nine assists for Montana (13-6, 6-2 Big Sky) and Kendal Manuel added 16 points. The Grizzlies used only eight players and had six bench points, all from Donaven Dorsey.
Rorie scores 20 points, leads Montana over Idaho 69-51
MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Ahmaad Rorie made four 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead Montana to a 69-51 victory over Idaho on Saturday night.
Montana (12-6, 5-2 Big Sky Conference) avenged last season's 79-77 overtime loss at Idaho (4-13, 1-5). The Grizzlies have won two of three on the road, and are a game back of conference-leader Weber State. Montana hosts the Wildcats on Saturday.
Pridgett scores 29 as Montana tops Northern Colorado
GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Sayeed Pridget scored 29 points, making 11 of 13 shots including all four of his 3-pointers, and Montana got back on track after a two-game skid with an 88-64 thumping of Northern Colorado on Saturday.

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Jamar Akoh scored 21 points and tied a career high with 18 rebounds to help Montana beat Sacramento State 87-56 on Thursday night.
Ahmaad Rorie added 21 points with five 3-pointers and the Grizzlies (10-4, 3-0 Big Sky Conference) made 13 of 20 from 3-point range.
Montana opened the second half with a 10-2 run to lead 54-36 and led by at least 20 after Michael Oguine's 3-pointer made it 70-48 with 7:36 left in the game.
Montana beats Southern Utah for 13th straight time
CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — Jamar Akoh scored 23 points, Ahmaad Rorie had 23 points, seven assists and three steals and Montana beat Southern Utah 89-76 on Monday for its 13th straight victory in the series.
The Grizzlies opened the 2018 calendar year with five straight road wins, part of a school-record seven, and closed the year with three straight away victories, including ending the nation's longest home winning streak at South Dakota State.

Griz take control in 2nd half for 60-53 win over ND State
MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Jamar Akoh scored 17 points with eight rebounds and Bobby Moorehead scored 13 and Montana beat North Dakota State 60-53 Monday night.
It was Akoh's second game back after missing six games with a wrist injury.
The Bison led 23-19 at halftime before the Grizzlies took control with a 13-4 run when Moorehead and Ahmaad Rorie made back-to-back 3-pointers, Sayeed Pridgett added a layup and Moorhead another 3 for a 32-27 lead Montana (6-3) would never relinquish.

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Jamar Akoh had 22 points and eight rebounds Friday night and had a key dunk with 38 seconds left to help Montana open its season with an 81-74 win over Georgia State.
Michael Oguine added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who extended their home winning streak to 16 games.
Akoh's dunk in the final minute made it 76-71 and Montana made 5 of 6 from the foul line to hold on for the win.
Montana escapes with OT win over Northern Colorado
RENO, Nev. (AP) — Bobby Moorehead had a game-tying 3 near the end of the second half and hit a key free throw late in overtime to help top-seeded Montana escape No. 5 seed Northern Colorado 91-89 in the Big Sky Tournament semifinals on Friday night.
The Grizzlies (25-7) will face the winner of No. 3 seed Eastern Washington and 10th-seeded Southern Utah in the championship on Saturday.
Montana’s DeCuire named Big Sky men’s basketball coach of the year
After guiding Montana to its second regular-season title in the last four seasons, Grizzlies head coach Travis DeCuire has been named the Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year by the league’s head coaches.
This season, DeCuire guided the Grizzlies to the fourth-best conference start in Big Sky history at 13-0 en route to a 16-2 finish and No. 1 seed for the conference tournament. Montana claimed its second regular-season title under DeCuire, the last being in 2015.

Oguine also made 2 of 4 free throws in the final six seconds to help the Grizzlies (20-5, 13-0 Big Sky) hold on for their 13th straight win.
The Hornets (6-19, 3-9) led for the final 15 minutes of regulation, but Montana closed the second half on a 5-0 run to force overtime.
Montana wins 12th straight, 80-60 over Portland St

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Fabijan Krslovic scored 21 points and sparked a key surge to help Montana pull away and beat Northern Colorado 88-79 on Thursday night for its tenth straight win.
