‘Babe’ actor among animals rights protesters at Utah Capitol
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Actor James Cromwell was among animal rights protesters who held stiff carcasses of dead piglets as they demonstrated at the Utah Capitol, calling on state officials to prevent cruelty at farms and investigate health risks associated with large-scale agriculture.
The 100 people participating in the protest staged Tuesday by Direct Action Everywhere were greeted by Michael Mower, Gov. Gary Herbert's deputy chief of staff.

The final trailer for this summer's "Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom" was released Wednesday. And it looks to be the most frightening installment yet.
The film, which will hit theaters June 22, is set four years after the events of "Jurassic World." Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return to reprise their roles as Owen and Claire. They return to Isla Nublar to save raptor Blue before the dormant volcano on the island erupts.
3 PETA protesters barred from SeaWorld San Diego
SAN DIEGO (AP) — Three animal rights activists are barred from SeaWorld San Diego after participating in a protest led by actor James Cromwell.
A judge Thursday also barred Ricky Chavez Rodriguez, Lyanne Fernandez and Lisa Lange from its waterslide park, Aquatica, for three years.
The three People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals members and Cromwell barged into an Orca Encounter show on July 24 with signs reading "SeaWorld Kills." PETA wants the orcas released from tanks.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Actor James Cromwell has been charged with trespassing for interrupting and denouncing an orca show at SeaWorld in San Diego.
The San Diego Union-Tribune (http://bit.ly/2f6PZ23 ) reported Monday that the misdemeanor charge could mean 90 days in jail or a fine up to $400.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — SeaWorld is seeking a restraining order against three animal rights activists who disrupted a killer whale show at its San Diego park last month in a protest led by actor James Cromwell.
The company wants to bar Lyanne Fernandez, Ricky Chavez Rodriguez and Lisa Lange from the San Diego park and SeaWorld's nearby waterslide park, Aquatica, according to court documents filed Thursday in San Diego County Superior Court.

A town judge sentenced the 77-year-old Cromwell and two fellow protesters to a week in the Orange County Jail for civil disobedience at the construction site of a 650-megawatt natural gas-fired power plant in December 2015.
