HUNTINGTON — Jon Elmore is a scorer, but he's not only a scorer.
The nation's ninth-leading men's basketball point producer with a 23.5 average for the Marshall Thundering Herd is a junior point guard who can also lead a team, play defense and rebound.
Sometimes, but not often, he struggles to make shots. That didn't stop him last week against Southern Miss when he was 5-for-15 shooting for a season-low 13 points, but still contributed to a victory with 11 assists and eight rebounds.
HUNTINGTON — Jannson Williams is answering the bell.
As a redshirt freshman member of the Marshall Thundering Herd men's basketball team, the 6-foot-9 forward is taking playing time whenever he gets it and trying to do positive things on the court.
"You need a bench," Williams said. "You know guys are going to get tired. Especially with the way we play our defense, you're going to get tired."
