PITTSBURGH (AP) — Marcus Weathers scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half when Duquesne took control, led for all of the final 20 minutes and knocked off the Atlantic 10 Conference's lone unbeaten Saint Louis 77-73 Wednesday night.
Frankie Hughes opened the second half with a jumper that gave Duquesne (14-5, 5-1) a 37-36 lead. Weathers added a 3-point play and Saint Louis was unable to regain the lead. The Dukes have won five straight for the first time since the 2010-11 season.
Saint Louis beats Saint Joseph’s 68-57 for 6th straight win
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Dion Wiley and Javon Bess scored 20 points apiece and Hasahn French added a double-double to propel Saint Louis to a 68-57 victory over Saint Joseph's on Friday.
Wiley knocked down 6 of his 11 shots from 3-point range, while Bess buried 5 of 10 for the Billikens (14-4, 5-0 Atlantic 10 Conference), who ran their win streak to six and remained the lone unbeaten team in conference play. French finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Javon Bess didn't even look at the numbers.
The Saint Louis University guard knew he was coming off one of the worst performances of his career in a five-point loss to Southern Illinois on Wednesday.
Three days later, Bess more than made up for it.
The 6-foot-6 inch guard poured in a career-high 24 points as Saint Louis narrowly defeated Oregon State 65-61 on Sunday.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The memories of falling to Butler by 30 points last season still remained fresh in Javon Bess' head as he took the court on Saturday with the task of guarding Bulldogs leading scorer Kamar Baldwin.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Javon Bess totaled 16 points and 10 rebounds as Saint Louis finished strong to beat North Alabama 69-58 on Tuesday night.
D.J. Foreman added 15 points while dishing out a career-best five assists and Hasahn French and Tramaine Isabell Jr contributed 11 points apiece for Saint Louis (3-0). Isabell grabbed seven rebounds, had two steals and one blocked shot.
North Alabama jumped out to an 8-0 lead before the Billikens roared back with 11 unanswered points and led 32-28 at the break.
Saint Louis rallies late to edge Troy 62-58
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Tramaine Isabell Jr. scored 16 points with four rebounds and five assists and Saint Louis rallied late to edge Troy 62-58 on Saturday night.
The Billikens (2-0) trailed 29-23 at the break and were down 52-51 with 2:19 to play when Jordan Goodwin sank a 3-pointer and Isabell followed with a layup to put Saint Louis on top, 57-51. Then Isabell drained five free throws in the final 38 seconds for the winning edge.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Tramaine Isabell Jr. and Javon Bess scored 18 points apiece as Saint Louis ran out to an early lead and then held off Southeast Missouri State for a 75-65 win to open the season on Tuesday night.

Goodwin gets first-ever triple double in St. Louis history
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Freshman Jordan Goodwin registered Saint Louis' first-ever triple-double with 13 points, a career-high 15 rebounds, and 10 assists and the Billikens beat Duquesne 76-63 on Wednesday night.
Goodwin also had four steals, the fourth time he's done that this season. Jordan almost posted a triple-double when George Mason beat Saint Louis, 86-81 on Saturday, with 11 assists, nine rebounds and nine points. Goodwin scored Saint Louis's first seven points against the Dukes.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Davell Roby scored 23 points and Jordan Goodwin 20 and Saint Louis beat Southeast Missouri 78-48 on Friday night.
Goodwin scored 16 of his points in the first half when Saint Louis took a 35-23 lead. Roby, with just two points in the first half, opened the second with a pair of 3-pointers and added a 3-pointer and a layup in an 8-0 burst for a 23-point lead with 11:38 to go.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Rob Gray was 13 of 13 from the free-throw line and finished with 24 points and Devin Davis scored 17 on 7-of-8 shooting to help Houston beat Saint Louis 77-58 on Saturday night for its seventh win in a row.
It is Houston's longest win streak since the Cougars (8-1) won seven straight in the 2012-13 season. They beat the Billikens in St. Louis for the first time since 1990 and snapped a six-game skid against their former Conference USA rival.

NEW YORK (AP) — Rodney Bullock scored 15 points to lead Providence to a 90-63 win over Saint Louis in the championship game of the 2K Classic at Madison Square Gardens on Friday night.
Providence (3-1) had four players finish in double-figure scoring to help the Friars to their second straight win. Alpha Diallo, Maliek White and Makai Ashton-Langford each scored 11.

NEW YORK (AP) — Character was the theme espoused by Saint Louis coach Travis Ford and Virginia Tech coach Buzz Williams.
Ford praised his team's ethos, as opposed to Williams, who wondered about his squad's makeup.
"What haunts me is our character was revealed in how we played," Williams said after Saint Louis topped Virginia Tech, 77-71, in the opening round of the 2K Classic on Thursday night.
"This was the first time I was caught off-guard," Williams said.
Saint Louis pulls away from Rockhurst 74-50
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Jalen Johnson had 14 points, Hasahn French added 13 and Saint Louis got red-hot in the second half to defeat Division-II Rockhurst 74-50 on Monday night.
The Billikens (2-0) made just 2 of 10 3-pointers and shot 41 percent (9 of 22) to lead 29-26 at the half. In the second half they made all four 3-pointers and shot 73 percent (16 of 22) to outscore the Hawks (1-2) 45-24.
Javon Bess, Davell Roby and D.J. Foreman each added 10 points for Saint Louis.
St Louis takes control, goes on to beat Seattle 62-46
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Aaron Hines scored 18 points, Javon Bess added 17 and St. Louis downed Seattle 62-46 on Friday night in a 2K Classic contest that served as the season opener for both teams.
The Billikens used a 9-0 run, capped by five-straight points from Davell Roby, for an early lead. Jordan Hill made a pair of free throws to pull Seattle within 19-16. St. Louis answered with an 8-0 run, Hill countered with his own 7-0 run, and St. Louis took a 34-27 lead into halftime.
