MIAMI (AP) — A person familiar with the move says the NFL has fined umpire Roy Ellison $9,300 and reinstated him from administrative leave after his dispute in Miami with Buffalo Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes.
The person confirmed the fine to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Friday because the league hadn't commented. The fine is the amount of one game check for Ellison.

Hughes appeared to head-butt Rizzi during a scuffle following a play last week at Buffalo.

NEW YORK (AP) — Houston cornerback Johnathan Joseph has been fined $24,309 by the NFL for unnecessary roughness in the Texans' 27-20 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City last Monday night.
Joseph was called for a penalty late in the third quarter after he tackled tight end Clive Walford, who made an 11-yard catch. The penalty helped lead the Raiders to a field goal.
Redskins’ Norman fined $48,620 for hit vs. Giants receiver
NEW YORK (AP) — Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman was fined $48,620 by the NFL on Friday for his unnecessary roughness foul on New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard last week.
Norman is a repeat offender who was fined more than $26,000 last season for his tussles with Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Last Sunday, Norman hit Shepard near the head and neck area.
