Nick Schmaltz's goal 33 seconds into overtime gave the Coyotes a 5-4 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night after they trailed 4-2 midway through the second period. It was the third time in Arizona's last eight wins that it was down two or more.
Henrique, Getzlaf help Ducks win again, beat Penguins 4-2
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Adam Henrique and Ryan Getzlaf each had a goal and an assist, and the Anaheim Ducks rallied past the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2 on Monday night.
The Ducks won for the ninth time in 10 games despite spotting the Penguins a two-goal lead. Henrique started the comeback with a power-play goal early in the second period and Getzlaf's empty net tally in the final minute pushed Anaheim to its sixth straight road win. Ondrej Kase and Kiefer Sherwood also scored for the Ducks.
Sprong’s OT goal lifts Ducks over Blue Jackets 2-1
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Daniel Sprong has been an Anaheim Duck for less than two weeks. On Saturday night, he went a long way toward ingratiating himself with his new teammates.
Traded to Anaheim Dec. 3 by Pittsburgh, Sprong scored twice — including in overtime — to lift the Ducks over the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-1 and begin a five-game trip on a positive note.
Ducks claim G Chad Johnson off waivers with Miller ailing
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — The Anaheim Ducks have claimed goalie Chad Johnson off waivers from St. Louis.
The Ducks announced the move shortly before revealing Tuesday that backup goalie Ryan Miller will be out for about six weeks with a sprained knee ligament.
Anaheim also says forward Rickard Rakell is out indefinitely with a sprained ankle. The club doesn't know when he will return.
Ducks extend win streak to 5 with 4-2 win over Blackhawks
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Ondrej Kase scored four minutes into the third period to lift the Anaheim Ducks over the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 on Wednesday night for their fifth straight win.
Anaheim matched Toronto for the longest active winning streak in the league. Brandon Montour and Daniel Sprong, who was making his Ducks debut, scored 20 seconds apart in the first period, and Jakob Silfverberg added an empty-net goal. John Gibson made 25 saves.
Aberg scores twice in 3rd, Ducks beat Caps 6-5
WASHINGTON (AP) — Pontus Aberg scored twice in the third period, giving Anaheim the lead with 5:05 remaining, and the Ducks stopped Washington's seven-game winning streak with a 6-5 victory Sunday
The Ducks trailed 5-1 in the second before rallying for their fourth consecutive victory. Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and two assists and Rickard Rakell had a goal and an assist in the finale of a five-game trip.

Nick Ritchie scores twice, Ducks beat Panthers 3-2
SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Nick Ritchie's timing has been good for the Anaheim Ducks the past two games.
Ritchie broke a tie with 1:28 left with his second goal of the game, John Gibson made 42 saves and the Ducks beat the Florida Panthers 3-2 on Wednesday night.
Ritchie grabbed a loose puck in front and beat goalie James Reimer to the right side. Ritchie also scored the winning goal in Tuesday's 3-1 win at Tampa Bay.
Ducks rally for 2-1 overtime win against Oilers
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Rickard Rakell and the Anaheim Ducks went from a frustrating loss to a dramatic victory — in a matter of seconds.
Rakell scored 14 seconds into overtime after Nick Ritchie tied the game with 16.2 seconds remaining in regulation, helping the Ducks top the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 on Friday.
"It takes 60-plus minutes to get points in the NHL, and tonight was one of those games, a prime example of it," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle said.

Klingberg scored the go-ahead goal late in the second period, when Dallas scored on four of its team-record 30 shots, and the Stars beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-3 on Saturday night.
Connor Carrick and Jamie Benn also scored for Dallas in the second. Tyler Seguin assisted on the goals by Radulov and Benn.
Terry, Gibson lead Ducks past Wings 3-2 in home opener
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Although Troy Terry is only five games into his NHL career, he was already something of a shootout legend even before he arrived in Anaheim.
When he got his first shootout opportunity for the Ducks on Monday night, Terry broke out the same skills he employed to win two enormous shootouts in the world junior championships last year.
Terry sent the crowd home happy — with plenty of help from John Gibson, of course.
