Seguin's tie-breaking goal came with 7:32 to play in a 5-4 victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Monday night.

MONTREAL (AP) — Ben Bishop turned away Artturi Lehkonen on a potentially game-changing penalty shot, and Devin Shore and the Dallas Stars rolled from there.
Shore had a goal and two assists, Bishop stopped 34 shots and the Dallas Stars beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-1 on Tuesday night.
Esa Lindell and Miro Heiskanen also scored, and Alexander Radulov added an empty-netter for Dallas, which won on the road for the first time this season. This was the second stop on the Stars' six-game road trip.

The 26-year-old Johns had a career-best 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) in 75 games last season, his third in Dallas. He was the prospect acquired in a deal that brought Patrick Sharp from Chicago in 2015.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Pekka Rinne stopped 26 shots, Ryan Hartman scored at 5:33 of the third period and the Nashville Predators beat the Dallas Stars 2-0 Tuesday night for a franchise-record ninth straight victory.
The Predators extended the NHL's longest active winning streak. The defending Western Conference champs also padded their lead atop both the conference and the Central Division.
Karlsson scores in overtime, Senators beat Stars 3-2
DALLAS (AP) — Craig Anderson was in good spirits after Erik Karlsson's goal 2:19 into overtime lifted the Ottawa Senators over the Dallas Stars 3-2 in overtime on Monday night.
Anderson, who made 31 saves, spoke tongue-in-cheek about 3-on-3 play in OT and even threw in a Scandinavian pun.
"I think 3-on-3 is one of our strong suits. Maybe we should try to take coinciding penalties throughout the game and get 3-on-3 going in the regular game.
Alex Ovechkin has hardest shot at skills competition
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Alex Ovechkin had already clinched the hardest shot title at the NHL All-Star game skills competition before taking his final shot.
All that was left was to try to top 100 mph, and Ovechkin did it.
The Washington star was the only player the break the century mark Saturday night, coming on his second try. Ovechkin's first attempt went 98.8 mph.
"Why not?" Ovechkin said, smiling. "And, I did. Of course it's special to get that type of win."

DALLAS (AP) — Stars coach Ken Hitchcock played a hunch early Saturday, and it paid off quickly.
Alexander Radulov, Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin — put together on the same line in the early going — scored first-period goals within a span of 6 1/2 minutes, leading the Stars past the Edmonton Oilers 5-1.
Seguin also had two assists. John Klingberg had a goal and two assists, and Mattias Janmark had a goal and an assist for Dallas.
Bjorkstrand’s quick strikes lead Blue Jackets over Stars 2-1
DALLAS (AP) — Oliver Bjorkstrand and the Columbus Blue Jackets were headed in the opposite direction of the Dallas Stars even though the teams had identical records going into the halfway point of the season.
The third-year forward reversed things in a hurry.

Klingberg had a goal and two assists, Bishop recorded his 20th career shutout and the Stars beat the New York Islanders 5-0 on Friday.
The 25-year-old Klingberg leads NHL defensemen with 18 points.

Marc Methot could go from playing with Erik Karlsson to pairing up with another young Swedish defenseman after a trade to the Dallas Stars.

Klingberg scored only three goals in his first 36 games this season, but has scored three in the last five.
McDavid gets first hat trick, Oilers beat Stars 5-2
DALLAS (AP) — Connor McDavid, among the league's most electrifying young stars, got his first career hat trick behind a few fortunate breaks Saturday night.
McDavid scored once off a defender's stick and put back two other juicy rebounds, and his three goals helped the Edmonton Oilers beat the Dallas Stars 5-2 to end a five-game skid.
McDavid, the first overall pick in the 2015 draft, ended a 10-game stretch without a goal.
