LOS ANGELES (AP) — Apple is ordering a comedy-drama series from J.J. Abrams that will feature original music by Sara Bareilles.
"Little Voice" is described by Apple as a romantic tale of searching for one's true voice as a young adult.
The show received a 10-episode order, Apple said Wednesday. The cast and the release date were not announced.
Abrams, whose credits include "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Lost," will serve as executive producer for "Little Voice."

PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) — Art Bell, a radio host best known for a paranormal-themed nightly show syndicated on hundreds of stations in the 1990s, died at his home in southern Nevada, authorities said Saturday.
Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly announced in a Facebook video that Bell died Friday in Pahrump. He was 72. An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death, she said.

NEW YORK (AP) — Vincent Nguini, a guitarist from Cameroon who worked with Paul Simon since the late 1980s, died last week in Brazil. He was 65.
Simon's publicist, Elizabeth Freund, confirmed the news to The Associated Press on Friday. Freund said Nguini died on Dec. 8 with his wife, Florence Nombulelo Yawa, by his side.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Josh Groban is adding the role of police detective to his TV resume.
Netflix said Wednesday that Groban will play a straight-laced New York City detective on "The Good Cop."
The actor-singer will star opposite Tony Danza, who plays his father. Danza's character, a disgraced NYPD officer, is the street-wise adviser to his cautious son.
