In Monday's statement, Tootsies Orchid Lounge owner Steve Smith said he's happy the money is benefiting a great cause in the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and hopes to keep supporting the hospital and parade.

Years before she became co-creator of Comedy Centrals The Daily Show, I got a good taste of Winsteads humor. She was in an HBO special called Women of the Night, which also introduced me to the biting humor of Joy Behar.
So while I savor how pointed Winstead is, I also know her satire isnt gloomy.

NEW YORK (AP) — Meghan McCain was welcomed to the air Monday as the newest co-host of ABC's "The View."
McCain, the daughter of Sen. John McCain, will represent a conservative perspective on the daily chat show. She replaces conservative commentator Jedediah Bila, who exited "The View" last month.
McCain joins a panel that also includes moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-hosts Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Paula Faris.

Jedidiah Bila departs ABC’s ‘The View;’ no replacement named
NEW YORK (AP) — Conservative commentator Jedediah Bila has announced her departure from ABC's "The View."
Bila made the announcement on Monday's program, saying she was leaving to work on a new book and had "a lot of opportunities" to consider.
Bila served as the chat panel's resident conservative. Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar both sent Bila off with kind remarks even though they noted that their opinions are often on the other side of the political spectrum.

Bure stars in the "Fuller House" remake on Netflix and frequently appears in movies for the Hallmark Channel. She has traveled to New York from California to appear on the daytime chatfest.

NEW YORK (AP) — ABC News correspondent Sara Haines is joining "The View" as the daytime talk show begins its 20th season.
Haines, who worked on the "Today" show before joining ABC in 2013, has primarily worked on pop culture stories. She will replace Michelle Collins as a host.
