BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — Have you got a grown-up state of mind? If so, the AARP has some film awards just for you.
For the 18th year, the organization for retired persons and its AARP, The Magazine, have awarded their "Movies for Grownups." The ceremony was held Monday night and will be broadcast Feb. 15 on PBS.

SAN SEBASTIAN, Spain (AP) — Judi Dench says she doesn't condone any inappropriate conduct by Kevin Spacey, but says scrubbing him from a film sets a questionable precedent.
The celebrated British actress says "I can't approve in any way the fact that, whatever he has done, that you then start to cut him out of films."
Spacey was erased from "All the Money in the World" last year and replaced with Christopher Plummer after allegations of sexual harassment against him.
The year is going to the dogs. And that's a good thing, for the most part.
The Year of the Dog started Feb. 16 on the Lunar calendar, which is dictated by the moon's cycle and falls between mid-January and mid-February.

Judi Dench set to have 1st runner in Grand National
LONDON (AP) — The queen of the big screen is taking on the toughest challenge in the sport of kings.
Oscar-winning actress Judi Dench is set to have her first runner in the Grand National, the world's most grueling steeplechase, after entering As De Mee in the race at Aintree in April.
As De Mee, which is owned by Dench jointly with businessman Andy Stewart, has won at the Liverpool course before, in the 2016 Grand Sefton Handicap Chase.
Director Ridley Scott to be honored by British film academy
LONDON (AP) — "Blade Runner" director Ridley Scott is to receive the British Academy Film Awards' highest honor.
The academy announced Wednesday that the 80-year-old filmmaker will collect the BAFTA Fellowship at the British academy awards ceremony next month.
Scott's films include "Alien," ''Thelma and Louise" and "Gladiator."
His latest release is kidnap drama "All the Money in the World," which underwent last-minute reshoots to replace Kevin Spacey after allegations of sexual misconduct.
‘The Last Jedi,’ ‘Three Billboards’ among AARP nominees
NEW YORK (AP) — "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" hasn't been mentioned much in this year's awards season, but it's among the nominees for AARP The Magazine's 17th annual Movies for Grownups Awards.
Oscar contenders are also in the mix. Besides "The Last Jedi," nominees for best film include "Get Out," ''Lady Bird," ''The Shape of Water" and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri."
“Hamilton” actor Leslie Odom Jr. has been tapped to perform “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis next month.
Odom won a Tony portraying Aaron Burr in the Broadway musical hit “Hamilton.”
Branagh teases return of old friends in ‘Death on the Nile’
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kenneth Branagh is teasing the return of "old friends" in his planned sequel to "Murder on the Orient Express."
Branagh is expected to both direct and reprise his role as the fancifully mustachioed lead character Detective Hercule Poirot in "Death on the Nile," another mystery based on an Agatha Christie novel, which screenwriter Michael Green will return to adapt.
