Lofton made 7 of 8 3-pointers. He added seven assists.

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Otis Livingston II scored 21 points with five assists and George Mason beat Massachusetts 80-75 in overtime on Wednesday night.
Javon Green sank a 3-pointer early in the extra period to put the Patriots (15-10, 9-3 Atlantic 10 Conference) on top for good, 65-63. UMass got as close as 75-74 on a Carl Pierre 3 with 18 seconds to go but Livingston, Green and Jarred Reuter combined for five free throws in the final seconds to keep George Mason on top.

Jarred Reuter had 16 points for George Mason (14-10, 8-3 Atlantic 10 Conference). Otis Livingston II added 14 points. Justin Kier had 13 points and eight rebounds for the hosts.

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Jarred Reuter scored 14 points, including two free throws with 10 seconds left to seal the win, and a steal on the final play for good measure as George Mason defeated Dayton 67-63 Wednesday night.
The loss was just the second for Dayton on its home court, the other was to then-No. 25 Mississippi State. George Mason continues its best conference start in six seasons since joining the Atlantic 10 Conference.

The Patriots (10-8, 4-1 Atlantic 10 Conference) improved to 3-0 on the road in conference play. UMass (7-10, 0-4) has lost six of its last seven games.
Kier was 8 of 12 from the floor and Greene 6-of-11 shooting, and the duo each had eight of George Mason's 35 rebounds. Otis Livingston II chipped in with 12 points and four assists.

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Justin Kier scored 15 points with 14 rebounds, Otis Livingston II scored 13 and George Mason beat St. Bonaventure 68-53 on Sunday for its first 2-0 start in Atlantic 10 play.
Livingston became the fourth-leading scorer in George Mason (8-7) history, moving past Robert Dykes with 1,647 career points.
Justin Kier leads George Mason over Saint Joseph’s 85-60
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Justin Kier had 18 points, five assists and grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds to lead George Mason to an 85-60 victory over Saint Joseph's on Thursday night in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams.
Kier made four 3-pointers and collected his third double-double of the season for George Mason (7-7, 1-0), which has won three of its last four games including a 59-58 loss at Kansas State on Dec. 29.

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — A.J. Brodeur scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and his free throw with 20 seconds left to play allowed Pennsylvania to escape George Mason with a 72-71 season-opening victory on Tuesday night.
It was Penn's first victory over the Patriots in four meetings.
There are not too many levels of separation between George Mason guard Justin Kier and Steph Curry, the NBA All-Star guard with the Golden State Warriors.
Kier grew up in Grottoes, Virginia, a small town of about 2,800 people a few miles outside of Harrisonburg in the Shenandoah Valley. Grottoes is also the hometown of Dell Curry, 53, the father of Steph and the author of his own NBA career from 1986 to 2002.

Raasean Davis scored the first eight points for the Eagles before Jaire Grayer's jumper put George Mason (5-5) ahead for good. Grayer's basket began a 14-7 run and the Patriots led 20-13 after Goanar Mar's jumper. Greg Calixte's tip-in off an offensive rebound extended the lead to 33-22 with 2:17 before halftime.

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Otis Livingston had a career-high 23 points and Marquise Moore had 20 points and a career-high 17 rebounds to lead George Mason to its ninth-straight win, 75-59 over Prairie View A&M on Thursday.
Livingston went 10 of 16 from the floor with two 3-pointers and had six assists. Moore made 7 of 13 shots and 6 of 10 from the line on his birthday. The Patriots (10-3) head into Atlantic 10 play with 10 wins for only the second time since 1983-84.

ESTERO, Fla. (AP) — Otis Livingston II scored 16 of his career-high 22 points in the second half, Marquise Moore had his fourth double-double in six games this season and George Mason pulled away in the second half for a 77-66 win over Bradley on Wednesday.
Livingston made 8 of 13 field goals, Moore finished with 17 points, a season-high 15 rebounds and five assists and freshman guard Justin Kier had eight points and a career-best 10 rebounds.
Wray’s OT dunk lifts Mount St Mary’s over George Mason 78-76
FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Chris Wray had 21 points and 10 rebounds and his dunk with a second left in overtime lifted Mount Saint Mary's over George Mason 78-76 on Friday night.
George Mason's Justin Kier hit two free throws to tie it at 76 with 29 seconds left in overtime before Elijah Long stole the ball from him later and Mount Saint Mary's called a timeout. Wray got the dunk off the inbounds and a steal as time expired.
