Vikings put G Nick Easton on IR, add Kaleb Johnson for depth
EAGAN, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings have placed guard Nick Easton on injured reserve with a neck injury that required surgery and has likely ended his season.
The Vikings made the move Monday, filling Easton's roster spot by signing guard Kaleb Johnson.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) — Jessie Govan scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and Jamorko Pickett scored 12 points to help Georgetown remain unbeaten with an 83-74 win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday.
Kaleb Johnson added 10 points for Georgetown (8-0). Entering Saturday's game, the Hoyas' opponents were a combined 8-52 against Division I competition.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) — Jessie Govan scored a season-high 26 points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds and unbeaten Georgetown beat winless Copping State 76-60 on Sunday.
Govan, a point off his career high, now has four double-doubles this season. He scored 16 points in the first half, made 7 of 10 from the free throw line and corralled eight rebounds.
Johnson’s 18 helps Hoyas beat Maine 76-55, remain unbeaten
WASHINGTON (AP) — Kaleb Johnson scored 18, leading five into double figures as Georgetown defeated Maine 76-55 on Tuesday for its fifth straight win to start the season.
Jessie Govan scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Hoyas (5-0), Marcus Derrickson scored 12 points and went 6-for-6 at the foul line, Jonathan Mulmore scored 10 points with five assists and Jahvon Blair added 11 points off the bench.
Govan, Derrickson double-doubles lift Georgetown past UMES
WASHINGTON (AP) — Jessie Govan had his third straight double-double, Marcus Derrickson had the third of his career and Georgetown remained unbeaten under former star Patrick Ewing with an 83-57 win over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Saturday.
Kaleb Johnson scored a career-high 24 points for the Hoyas (3-0) on 9-of-13 shooting, including four 3-pointers. Govan had 23 points, making 10 of 15 shots, and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Derrickson had 14 points and 10 boards.
Govan leads Georgetown to another victory, 102-68
WASHINGTON (AP) — Jessie Govan scored 20 points and pulled down 14 rebounds and Georgetown gave new head coach Patrick Ewing another victory, beating Mount St. Mary's 102-68 on Wednesday night.
Govan had 20 points and 15 rebounds for the Hoyas (2-0) in their season-opening victory against Jacksonville. Against the Mountaineers (0-3), he was 7-of-9 shooting and made all three of his 3-point attempts.
