Comic-Con programming kicks off with ‘The Predator’
SAN DIEGO (AP) — Actors Sterling K. Brown, Olivia Munn and Keegan-Michael Key have gotten the first day of programming at San Diego Comic-Con off to a lively start Thursday morning with an intense look at "The Predator" sequel.
Speaking to some 6,500 audience members in the convention's biggest programming room, Hall H, director and co-writer Shane Black describes his film as the "dirty half-dozen" and "leaner and meaner" than the original from 1987.

Keegan-Michael Key of Key & Peele is Orpheus’ 2018 monarch
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Actor Keegan-Michael Key of Comedy Central's sketch comedy series "Key & Peele" will lead the Krewe of Orpheus parade for the 2018 Mardi Gras season.
Key joins a long line of celebrities to lead this parade, which rolls at 6 p.m. Feb. 12.
He will be joined on the route by actors Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph, who star in Marvel's "Cloak & Dagger" series premiering this year on Freeform.
Olivia Munn to helm Critics’ Choice Awards after T.J. Miller
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Organizers said Wednesday that Olivia Munn will host the 2018 Critics' Choice Awards to be broadcast Jan. 11 on the CW.
Munn follows T.J. Miller, who has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman when he was in college. Munn is among Brett Ratner's sexual harassment accusers and has been fighting for reforms in Hollywood.

NEW YORK (AP) — Keegan-Michael Key's latest job is channeling the words of a comic master.
Random House Children's Books tells The Associated Press on Monday the Emmy Award-winning performer is narrating the audio edition of Mark Twain's "The Purloining of Prince Oleomargarine." The Twain story is a fairy tale he left unfinished at the time of his death. It has been completed by author Philip Stead and illustrator Erin Stead. Both the print and audio editions are scheduled for Sept. 26.

Crackle’s ‘SuperMansion’ special promises Halloween fun
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The stop-action animated series "SuperMansion" is getting spooky this Halloween.
Streaming service Crackle said Monday that a new special, "SuperMansion: Drag Me to Halloween," will debut Oct. 5. Lake Bell and Phil LaMarr will guest star.
Bell and LaMarr will add their voices to those of cast members including Bryan Cranston and Keegan-Michael Key.
